A pathetic offense is on tap for the 2016 giANTS. Maybe the giANTS should spend $ 200,000,000.00 on offense. Good luck!
Giants' first team offense will need all of the exhibition games to iron out their shortcomings. Manning & Company have not produced any points so far. Offensive line looks unprofessional with TE blocking problems. Running game is lucky to gain a yard per carry. The main question leading in to this season will be "How do Giants prevent Manning from a major injury?"
Unbelievable! To correct OL problems, G-men call on Will Beatty whom they let go last year! And this move will correct the OL woes? Not!
Considering their line they shouldn't of let him go in the first place. Healthy he's better than what they have.
^^^^all we can do is hope it works out. It's amazing how long it takes to make the Giants a playoff team!
Either way they needed depth. If somebody was to go down on the line it would be beyond a disaster. Now they have some options and flexibility.
Vic, last year this team had numerous injuries. This year is starting the same way..........and that's after they put in a whole new regimen to cut down on injuries. What gives?
I have a lot of issues with what this offense is doing so far this year. First, which is only the fault of one guy this team doesn't have a competent tight end. Donnell is out of this game with a concussion after getting lit up on a block like I've never seen somebody get blown up before. They have no tight ends who can block and they're mediocre in anything else they do as well. Second, they're running the ball decently but they need to use their big three receivers to get the ball down field. Too many short passes. Third, Eli needs to start leading out there. I counted I think three balls thrown into the turf for no reason in the first half. He hasn't been hit tonight and the pressure has been minimal. He needs to get the ball out and let his receivers make plays.
Is OBJ coachable? His poor attitude takes away from his play on the field. He becomes the focus, the team suffers. Vince Lombardi would have kicked his ass to the sidelines until he understood that team comes first, not Odell Beckham Jr.
