I was curious about if the election were up to the forum, who would win? I noted that it seems highly conservative here. I have taken the liberty of putting up an anonymous poll. Take it if you want to, if not ok.

Trump is not fit to be president, and Hillary doesn't deserve the honor. I'm leaning towards writing in Bernie. If I lived in a swing state I'd probably vote for Hillary.

Johnson is a goofball, but a humane goofball. I'm voting for him merely to get the Libertarian party matching funds in the next cycle. Just glad I don't live in a swing-state, otherwise I'd have to swallow my bile and vote for Hilarity.

I'm torn between voting Bernie Sanders, or voting Damian Lillard.

Conservative? I view this forum just as I view Multnomah County. Far left. I can name a couple in here that are conservative. Marazul and it appears maybe Blue 32. But don't confuse Donald Trumps support in here as support from conservatives. His record is one of being far left. That has a lot attraction in a forum. As a matter of fact, the bashing the man gets from plenty of liberals makes no sense. Removing June 2015 to now, All they have to do is look at his record, and 80% of them, 80% of the time would agree and support his past actions.

Quite telling that the Libertarian vote is so high.... If only the Republican's could tap into that block they'd have Trump winning in a landslide.
Unfortunately for Trumpster some of his controversies and language kinda ruined that.... :\

According to the poll it seems very balanced. From the many discussions I have been involved in in this forum, I have found there is actually not a lot of support for Donald Trump from the liberal peeps here...

The Democratic Party was tapped into Independents when Bernie was running. Carrying the Independent vote, he would have won the presidency in a landslide.

I'll make a meaningless vote, either writing in Bernie, or a protest vote for Trump.

Hillary says she will greatly enlarge the Syria War in order to create a new country in its north, which experts say would require defense by 30,000 American ground troops. She is considering a no-fly zone to shoot down Russian fighters. So Trump warned of a nuclear war and got nothing but negative headlines.

The State Dept. is intent upon making Russia the enemy, stealing Ukraine and Syria from its zone of influence. Newsflash to the American government: Russia is capitalist. Trump says, why not be friends with Russia?

To be a Libertarian (big "L" or little "l") is to be against authoritarianism. The rest is window dressing.

This forum (and internet forums generally) skews significantly more libertarian than the general population.

It appears to me that Trump's supporters here do in fact self-identify as conservatives.

It's missing the point to try to call him a liberal or a conservative. He's neither, since he does not know or care about policy.

"Policy" is another word for "authoritarian."

Also the majority of people who post here are from Oregon, so one could say this forum is going to be more leftist than the general population.

If the election were up to this forum I would ban everyone who didn't vote for me.
