Based around Skjei and a 1st, which is pretty obvious as a starting point. Rumor Break on twitter said they have offered that. Probably another roster player would have to go, maybe Fast or Lindberg? McIlrath?
Uhhh. No. Skjei is playing great. I know they are super high on Graves but Skjei's speed fits AV's system perfectly. Would I like Trouba. Yes. Would I give up another 1st. No. Would I give up Skjei? No. He demanded a trade. Another example of his team not having leverage. Don't want to trade McIlrath but for Trouba I think you have to do that. I would do Lindberg, McIlrath, Halverson and a 2nd. That's it. Trouba didn't improve last year. Personally, I think the way the team is playing they don't need to make any moves now.
If Jets are demanding a #1 + players......I'd pass. ^^^^true. Jets have no leverage. If you want Trouba, offer what you would think, not what they demand. ........and work from there. Fair!
So far Gorton has been very patient and stealth in his deals. The fact that this is a rumor when gorton has been so secretive tells me this is a writer throwing something out there to sell some papers. The problem with trouba and next year if we go after shatty is their both gonna want deals in that 6 mill range which means I think we need to find a home for nash or someone else making decent money to make it work. I hope no trouba deal is done because of what we'll probably have to give up unless an extension is in place for him.
