We're not really starting our 5 strongest players, are we? If you could choose our starting lineup thinking our best players should start, who would your starters be?
Interesting topic, but that's not how hoops works right? It's about chemistry. Players knowing their roles. you don't want your 6-10th best on the court together if you ask me. Our 3rd-6th or 7th best players all about the same.
The Blazers are outscoring opponents by 35.6 points per 100 possessions in the six minutes Damian Lillard, Allen Crabbe, Evan Turner, Al-Farouq Aminu and Meyers Leonard have shared the floor this season. http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/i...llards_floater_trail_blazers_3rd_quarter.html
I'd probably start Crabbe with Aminu and it's not a popular decision, but I'd bring CJ off the bench...he doesn't light up the scoreboard in the first half very often....I'd finish the game with CJ Dame Crabbe Turner Aminu Plumlee
Wow, six whole minutes. I see your ridiculous small sample size stat and raise you: In 8 minutes, Jake Layman is averaging 100.9 points per 100 possessions and has a PER of 97.3! BNM
Start Shabaz Crabbe Turner Vonleh Davis We then bring in our regular starters to play again'st their second unit. Brilliant!
So to translate.... The great white hype is back to being the great white hope!!! I just took my Jersey off of Ebay!!!! Lol
I am saying that is something I could see POR doing and calling it change. Moving him from one spot to another. Not the solution.
Vonleh sure. Layman should get minutes but not start. Meyers no. Unless it is just to build up to trade him.
He'll probably get more minutes now and play decent for a couple of weeks Just take it down and then resubmit it when he peaks.... Double your $$$$
It would certainly be interesting to see what that group could do on offense. They'd definitely have a tough time stopping anybody though.
