"I'm not a motivator. I've never been," Wade said. "Everybody's looking for me to come in and make a speech. It's not going to happen, man. I just try to go out there and play and hopefully my play speaks for itself. From an interview after the Knicks loss. What do you guys think? I don't think it matters, guys like Duncan lead by example.

Wade doesn't think he is a motivator, but he really is. Just like Memphis said, he leads by example.

He is in fact a motivator, just not by words. He leads by how he plays, not by being very vocal.

Re: Wade: "I'm not a motivator"

I expected this to come out of Dwayne Wade's mouth I mean you never really see him talk to other players on the court as he is just trying to focus on his game. Wade has never really been much of a vocal guy pretty much like Tim Duncan but just a little bit more talkative. If the Heat keep struggling maybe Dwayne will have to say something to motivate them even if he doesn't like too.

Wade is definitely a motivator. He inspires the refs to give him calls every night.

It's time to motivate shaq to come back into game shape and own the eastern division.

He just gets so many ridiculous calls from the refs, and it's bull sh*t. When you got Wade, it's like your playing NBA Live with In air foul on 100. Your gonna get a call 99.9% of the time. Only one or maybe 2 times he didn't get a call. I mean, 23-24? Thats ridiculous. He tied with us in free throw shooting last night. I know What Wade can do, matter fact, he finishes a lot of those plays. It's not he is a bad player, because thats not true. But he wouldn't be the same if he didn't get so many calls when every he steps in the dam paint.

Re: Wade: "I'm not a motivator"

Of course hes going to get certain calls...like all stars, but most of them are real. Hes a great penetrator and hes going to get those calls. Hes not getting any special treatment that other stars dont get.

Funny, the best player in the NBA gets suspend for a bull sh*t play. LeBron is getting lot's of love, so much love when he drives he gets the call once in a blue moon. You did see the game last night, right? Every time he took the ball in the paint, there was a foul called. If that is not 'Special Treatment' what is?

Re: Wade: "I'm not a motivator"

Hes getting the most free throws because hes a great penetrator...maybe the best since MJ.(NO COMPARISONS THOUGH...SO PLEASE). Plus the new rules and him being a star and getting somewhat a curve.

Re: Wade: "I'm not a motivator"

I guess that's how ridiculous the NBA is these days, eh? You just walk in the paint and 'act' like your doing a movie. Wade is for sure good at it, Who else can fly half court, after getting just touched when u walk in the paint. It really is pathetic, if u ask me.

Well, this is going nowhere. But as a 0 percent fan of Miami or really Wade for that matter, IMO I think he gets solid calls.

Re: Wade: "I'm not a motivator"

Matter fact, I like Wade.I may not be a big fan of the Heat, but you can't tell me he gets 'solid calls'. Because, thats not true. Thats like saying Shaq will go 10/10 on free throws in one game. Like that, it's not gonna happen. You can 'believe' Wade gets 'solid calls' but after last night, I think much, much different. And, I am sure I can get a few people here to agree.

Re: Wade: "I'm not a motivator"

I agree with both cavsrule and memphisfan in a way, I agree that wade does get a lot of calls and more special treatment then most of the players in the NBA but I don't understand why you guys get mad at wade even if he does act a little in front of the refs I mean it's not like wade is telling the refs to blow the whistle, I'm sure if wade was on your team or if you were in wades spot you woulden't be complaining. I agree with memphisfan also because even though lebron and kobe are great players I think wade goes to the rim a little more. And Does it seem like Kobe gets less special treatment ever since Kobe was charged with sexual assault. I don't think it's true but maybe the NBA doesen't like people who got charged with rape.
