LeBron wasn't suspended because he did Stern a favor by playing in the Suns game on ABC that sunday, a game which he probably shouldn't have with his toe injury.
personally, I dont think the kobe foul was meant to hurt any1. I mean he was goin for the game winner, got blocked. to me it lookd like kobe initially tried 2 keep his defender (ginobili) away so he can try get the ball and shoot it up again, not really intendin to hurt him, which he did. this is kinda strayin from the topic but: On the inbounds play it was bruce bowen guarding kobe and he got caught, den manu just came pretty much outta nowhere to block the shot, maybe kobe thought it was bruce? but that doesn't really explain anything, just wanted 2 point it out.

It's sad watching the NBA turn into such a pussy sport. Note- The NBA is not a pussy sport right now but compared to the early 90's 80's and before it was WAY more physical and alot better than it is today where if you breathe on Wade it is an automatic foul.

Neither Kobe or Lebron deserved a suspension or even a flagrant foul. Wade did his usual dramatic "I got shot" routine and Kobe's was just a reaction to get the ball after getting blocked.
