<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Does Isiah Want To Replace Flip In Detroit?1st February, 2007 - 11:46 amNew York Daily News -On Wednesday, Isiah Thomas declined to name the seven reserves he picked except to say, "I voted for all the Pistons. The Pistons I voted for. Because they are good and I like them. Whenever there is a Piston that has a chance he's got my vote. I'm biased."Thomas has said good things about the Pistons all season long. Some have theorized that he is keeping his options open in case Flip Saunders does not return as Pistons coach.</div>SOURCE: http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/445...lip_in_detroit/Lets Have a discussion on this, Shall we?
How can he be the GM of the Knicks and Coach at Detroit? He suck at coaching. Joe Dumars probably wouldn't even hire him. And nobody really likes him. He can't even make the Knicks play like a playoff team. And I don't really like him as well.
Joe Dumars is cold blooded and every decision he makes is 110% business. Isiah just isn't a very good coach.
Isiah is only a mediocre coach, but then again the future of this team is uncertain. I think Isiah could be a good coach, he isn't right now, but could be in the future. He has got the Knicks to play better this year and win, and although I don't like what he said to Melo to stay out of the paint, he still has that Bad Boys attitude, which is something we may be in need of in a year or two.
I would rather have another former piston Bill Laimbeer be Flip's eventual replacement, that is if Flip can't get the job done. HoLLa baCk
its an iffy, he might be all business with where he's at now, but he he comes over here he'll want to win for real. I like zeke, but he just doesn't fit in right now. if we fire flip and zeke gets fired over in NYC, I guess I'd give him a shot if I was Joe D, I'd be wrong not to. (thats if I was Dumars of course)
he's not leaving the knicks. he'll look like an even bigger fool if he just leaves the team without getting them over the hump a little.
