Toronto Raptors guard-forward Morris Peterson has been the subject of several trade rumors, one having him headed to the Detroit Pistons. Peterson is a former star at Michigan State and says he wouldn't mind going home to stay."I've always loved the Pistons," Peterson said. "I've always been a Piston fan growing up. I'm pretty sure a lot of my family would love to see that happen."LinkWow, Pistons GM is making some moves this season, and this one would be a pretty good one in my book. At least there GM is making moves, unlike Cleveland's.

The Pistons and Raptors should just swap Flip Murray for Morris Peterson. I also read the Bulls are interested in Nazr, maybe we could trade Nazr for a future pick. It would help the cap room so we could re-sign Billups this summer, but if no trade could be reached then I wouldn't mind keeping Nazr for the playoffs.I would love to see a Pistons playoff roster like:C. Webber/Mohammed(if not traded)/DavisPF. Wallace/McDyess/MaxiellSF. Prince/PetersonSG. Hamilton/DelfinoPG. Billups/HunterHoLLa baCk

Besides, if we trade for Mo Pete I believe Nazr will be involved either way.I would welcome a trade for Mo Pete for 3 reasons:1. He would be more of a help off the bench then anyone is other then Dyess2. He would bring ANOTHER outside threat, which would make us I think the best outside team in the league.3. His contract expires at the end of the year, giving us room to resign Chauncey.

I think Raps should hang on to Mo Peterson. He's been in the Raptors since 2000. He has helped us win alot of games lately with his shots at the last minute.

Peterson for Flip actually sounds good, but the Raptors have so many guards that its hard to see that trade happen. But he or Jalen rose would fit fine either way.but with all of the possibilities, the roster is fine right now as you can see.I am starting to think that getting rid of Nazr might be a good idea, this guy deserves time, but he's not getting it here. I'm thinking a three way trade. with Memphis and Chicago.Memphis Gets: Nocioni, MohammedChicago Gets: GasolDetroit Gets: 1st round Pick(Chicago)it might work out, will someone try it in the trade machine? it wont let me at school. lol

No freaking way. [IMG] I'd love it for Detroit. Hopefully it would be the Knicks pick. But Gasol for Noc and Mohammed really screws the Grizzlies over, who already have Rudy Gay, Stro Swift, and Hakim Warrick at Nocioni's position.Plus, Detroit won't make a deal to help a division rival out.

So why not trade him now and see if he could help win a title? HoLLa baCk

I doubt Colangelo would trade him at the moment. He's playing a key player coming off the bench for us and is the reason why we'll doing so well. He'll only trade him to you unless he thinks it will help make our team better. Also MoPete is expiring this year, so if he decides not to resign with us then maybe you guys might have a chance of getting him. But I hope we lock him up until he decides to leave.
