I really like bridges I know he playing the 4 but that because Michigan State had alot big guys go with injuries. I think he will play small foward in the pro's. He will be a really good 6th man his first year. Really great energy guy.

I'd like to see if we could trade our pick+Aminu to Sacramento for their pick (which is only a few spots ahead of us likely unless we make the playoffs) so we can take Jonathan Isaac.

Take Donovan Mitchell (like his defensive potential) with the Memphis pick, and Caleb Swanigan with the Cavs pick.

We should list when these players are scheduled to play next in the tourney so we can be reminded to check them all out.

He's the one. He's tailor made for Stotts and Olshey. I like him more than Markkanen.

I agree, definitely a passer who look like they could fit seamlessly into the offense. Wouldn't have to worry about using him to space the floor since you could rely on him to make that extra pass to the open man.

Hartenstein is also a Duck Legacy, too bad he didn't come home to the flock they could use him about now. It would be fun to see him in a blazer uni!

Digging for gold in the second round.

Led the nation in a/t ratio for three straight years. A bit like a pre-injury OKC Eric Maynor:

If Bruce Brown doesn't come out, I still would like Donovan Mitchell with the Memphis pick. Sure, he's only 6'3" but he brings a needed skillset as a good point of attack of defender against 1's + off ball shooter as a Marcus Smart/Avery Bradley type.

Actually like his ability to guard quick 1's and handle pg duties on offense more than Brown too who I'm not sure has the handle vs pressure or the defensive tools/footwork to be that kind of guy, but more of an off ball shooter, functional wing ballhandler + 2/3 defender.

Watching the Wake Forest - Kansas State "first four" game right now, and Collins has not impressed me so far. He's basically been invisible out there, and easily outplayed by Kansas State's DJ Johnson (a poor man's Kenneth Faried). I don't know what kind of posts he's been playing against to gain his rep, but he's not showing me anything yet tonight.

The last three drafts I focused on Euro bigs for my value picks - low firsts or second round buys. Players I thought were projected WAY too low and could be had later in the draft:

    2014: Nikola Jokic - was always a projected second-rounder - I thought he was a lotto pick.
    2015: Willy Hernangomez
    2016: Ivica Zubac/Geo Papagiannis/Ante Zizic

Outside Papagiannis they are all playing extremely well in the NBA and in Europe. This year there aren't any Euros like there were in the past three drafts. Definitely a very weak crop. Maybe one of the worst ever.

I've liked your picks over the years. Too bad to hear this year's crop is so poor. I was hoping that Kaba could be that guy, but apparently you're not too high on him.

This is an interesting thought. We would have to give up more than Vonleh and late firsts though. Maybe Moe and our first would work.

Tobias Harris is intriguing as well. He's currently coming off the bench in DET so they obviously don't value him too high. He has been playing the 4 the last couple years and shoots 35% from 3 consistently. His defense has really improved this year as well.

Either way, this offseason should be interesting.

Maybe as a late second to take a flier on. Fwiw, his last NBA private workout (two drafts ago) was with Portland.

If you go this rout and take a project you take Jeanne. I thought he could've played himself into a Late lotto/mid-first this year but has shown very little improvement. He's dangerously close to being Ajinca rather than Gobert. He's intriguing because he's athletic for his size at nearly 7'4" w/shoes - at PF.

Here's 17-year old Jeanne next to Gobert:

Again, at age 17 he was measured at: 7'2" (w/o shoes) with a 7'7" wingspan - under 200 lbs.

    He's a llllllong-term project.

A possible 2nd round value pick: Dwayne Bacon
