Episode 1: 2017 NBA Playoff Preview is up on my podcast now. A little bit of technical difficulties in terms of popping my Ps with the microphone (it's my first full episode!) but I still recommend checking it out. I break down a lot of NBA history that you might find interesting. Check it out at NBASpeed.com. It will be up on Stitcher and iTunes soon. Feel free to ask questions or make comments here that you want me to mention on the show. Thanks Everybody!

Presenting my Podcast SPeeding through the NBA Playoffs. Made Popular on the Prestigious Portland sPorts two message boards. I was Pleased with the Participation in this Playoff Push.

Glad to hear you talk about those Spurs announcers. I was thinking the same thing when I heard them say that during the broadcast this week. I thought "No we're not over it and we will never cheer for this guy in our town".

Anthony Davis and Al Horford are PF's not centers. But you are right about the Gobert - Jordan matchup in the sense that it is the best center matchup in the Playoffs.

Haven't both Davis and Horford played center for most of this season, though? Horford, not Millsap, was center on the Hawks. Some media members have discussed choosing Davis as a center on their All NBA ballot. He's played a lot of center.

Boston's most used lineups this season have Amir Johnson playing at center. Anthony Davis played a lot of Center because he was their best option compared to Asik and Ajinca, overall he's more of a 4 and they treat him as such when Cousins is out on the floor. I guess it depends on how technical you want to be about it.

It could be one of the better years for competitive series that we've had in a while.

I think the Clippers winning Home Court was huge because of the Jazz lack of playoff experience. The Jazz have a good team, but I'm not sure if they are ready to take that leap. If the Jazz win that series the Clippers absolutely have to blow it up... They probably should anyways, but there will be no getting past it if they don't at least make it to the second round.

Pacers are likely going to be Cavs fodder, paving the way for PG13 to leave in FA.

Milwaukie Toronto will be very interesting. The bucks have a lot of length, and I think it will be tough for the Raptors to advance to the ECF this season.

San Antonio should be able to get past Memphis but you never know when it comes down to a "grind it out" series, which one would expect this one to be.

Houston and OKC is going to be wild and either team could win that series. Westbrook vs Harden is going to be the highlight, but the series will be won based off of how the Oladipo's and Anderson's are playing. When Ryan Anderson is doing his thing the Rockets are difficult to beat, but you're not going to beat Westbrook in a series without a fight.

Listened to the playoff preview. Enjoyed the history lesson. And no I don't think you are crazy for paying people to leave the lounge so you could check the score of the game on tv...I would have liked for you to make some predictions. I know you kind of said who you were going for, but I would have like to hear who you think was going to win each series and in how many games....other than that great podcast. I will definately tune in and listen to more once you put them up.
