    That's the rule.

Butters is such a great and fitting nickname.

    He cares.

Probably a bit too much and gets in his head as a result, but he cares.

On a team that tosses a lot of lazy passes, Meyers is the exception. He passes the ball very crisply.

Meyers is better at playing defense than the members of this forum are at saying something nice about Meyers.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
In elementary school, one day we had to play a similar game where you had to say something positive about someone else (I forget now how people got paired up). I just remember one kid saying about another, "You're short, which probably means you can run fast."

Everything about that answer was great, including the dubious science of it, so it's stuck with me.

Meyers Leonard is tall, which probably means he can run fast.

It's interesting to me that we have one guy who seems to have a rich man's shin splint and a bunch of folks here are screaming that he should be shut down until next season, while no one's lamenting that (alert: Quick reporting) a 7'1 guy we paid 40M to this summer is running around on 2 herniated discs in his back and a fucked-up hip. The first guy, on his injury, scored 33/15 and 19/11 before being shut down, showing that it's probably not a career-changer. The second, who's playing like garbage (I'm assuming) because he can't jump and it hurts to fucking stand up, is being ridiculed and tossed out to the Wolves in a playoff game.

Thank you, Meyers, for not pulling a Scottie Pippen and saying "I'm sitting this one out."

I'm still dubious about those injury claims. Has Meyers actually appeared on the injury report for it?

Ooh, and Meyers is very good at faking injuries to get sympathy on the internet

Meyers is very considerate of his fellow NBA players.

Instead of taking a layin or a dunk where he might accidentally bump into one of them, he passes out to the 3-pt line.

The first sighting of his back injury on the Official Report was 10/16. Not much since then.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Saying that we're ridiculing him for struggling in last night's game is patently unfair.

We're ridiculing him for his play the last couple of seasons.
