I think our season was very terrible. But worth a lot go to the playoffs and we now have our future C and 3rd score option in the team. At least, we can see now how crabbe, ET, Moe, Leonard (lol) and Noah playing in this playoffs, make trade and cut someone.

Off season moves: BackUp Center / Starter PF / Backup SF (i believe in moe) and a good and scorer 6thman with experience.

The season was awfull but the nurkic trade save us. We have 3 draft picks and 3 guys to build arround.

Now, we probrably be sweep by the warriors.

Terrible? Really? Disappointing, maybe, but "terrible" seems like an overstatement to me...

It was terrible. Dissapointed happened in the first half, then it was terrible until the nurk trade.

Basically all of the players played much worse this season than last season, which is certainly disappointing and more than a bit upsetting.

That being said, this was a fantastic season. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that we'd get the third of an awesome big 3 who also happens to check off a LOT of boxes...
    shotblocking, check.
    low post scoring, check.
makes the team defense better, check.
    nasty streak, check.
makes the game fun for the other players, check.
    Loves Portland, check.
check, check, check. He does it all.

Now, just lose some salary, get some 3 and D guys, and we're absolutely golden. Never thought such a thing was possible before the season.

Hard to say it was a bad season when the Nurk trade was so big for our future. Maybe a better way to put it is that it was a "long" or "frustrating" season. It was definitely unpleasant, I like that word... I think I'll go with that one, it was an unpleasant season.

This season was a turd burger (the start, middle and end with the Nurkic injury) with extra cheese (the Nurkic trade and the handful of games where he went HAM).

    So, "Yay, extra cheese . . . Oh? . . ."

It's a frustrating season in that we rolled the dice on paying Meyers, Turner, Crabbe, Ezili and Harkless and totally crapped out. If at least one of those guys broke out, it would be a different story. I don't know of any team in recent memory that has had a worse return on investment.

The Knicks and Nets of recent vintages spring to mind, but possibly not in a single off-season.

I think Harkless live up to his contract but the others well not so much. Crabbe he shoots over 55 percent at home to 33 percent away. That to me not worth 19 million a year. We need a 6th man that comes in and gives us 14 to 16 points a game and Crabbe is not that person for us. He might give 23 points one night and next night he will give you 3.

I think this season has been solidly in the Abominable - Abhorent range . . .

It's not so much who plays, but the way we play.
Perimiter chucking, soft, benny hill themed schemes must go. . .

Eh, we now have 3 cornerstone players who look to be able to combine 60-70ppg.
Lillard went from 25ppg to 27ppg, which is a pretty significant jump.
CJ went from 20 to 23ppg, cementing his status in a second season.
Nurkic looks to be the big man in the middle we were always hoping Oden/Randolph/Sheed/LMA would be.

The record sucks, and who can be satisfied with a first round exit. But jesus, people, doesn't anybody remember Sebastian Telfair? Or the sinking feeling in your gut when Roy collapsed, or Aldridge ditched us for nothing, or the Oden saga? If this season was "abominable," what do you call those ones?

We've got the problem of First, Second and Third Banana seemingly wrapped up for the next decade, and it happened this year. That's the hard part. This is a rebuilding team, and the rebuild has made massive strides.

i agree. i regretted paying for league pass and wasnt going to resub, nurk might save the nba $200 out of my pocket next season. Another reason why i hated watching games this season was the announcers. i use to go out of my way to watch the home broadcast and this season on the rare occasion i caught a game i mostly listened to the away announcers because i feel there is no difference.
