So much negativity around here. I'm trying to stay out of those threads. Don't give up on the team, guys. Two 3-1 leads were blown last year. Thunder trailed by 40 to Spurs in game 1 last year and still won the series. IF Nurkic rejoins the team on the floor, that changes everything. Could make a big impact in the same way Clippers injuries made a big impact last year. Also- we had a good 25-10 run at the start of the second quarter last night that is something to build on. Was the best defense we've played all year. Warriors looked dumbfounded. I'm just saying wait until a team beats us four times before all the negativity. It's not fucking over.

Also 1994 Nuggets got blown out twice before winning 3 straight to win their series.

Depends on Nurk. If he doesn't play we're done. If he plays we have a shot. I don't think he will play though.

Another thing. Remember when we got blown out in Utah in our last game there? Well then we came home, Dame dropped 59 and we beat them. Home court advantage is real.

What I can see happening is coming home and playing a great game 3 especially if Nurk plays but then taking their foot off the gas and relaxing and blowing game 4.

But these are the things young teams need to experience and learn from. Playoff basketball is EVERY POSSESSION MATTERS basketball. Every quarter and every game. Can't take quarters or games off.

I think there's a better chance of us winning if jinxspeed thinks it's all over...

    Preach!

If the game is going poorly many of the game thread comments are just added disappointment to me. I really enjoy this community and have been posting here for almost 4 years now. I'd say 90%+ of the posters here are generally legit, very knowledgeable basketball fans. That number dips in the game threads when a select few seem to get so lost in their emotions that they develop verbal diarrhea. I don't like to put people on ignore because I want to know what everyone has to say regardless of whether or not I approve of what is being said. Thus I still read posts by the members who get under my skin, but at the end of the day I don't dislike the poster because I appreciate fans expressing themselves in whatever way they feel necessary... But boy oh boy does it piss me off to read posts like "Why is Dame so Dumb?", son if you actually mean that then let me buy you a mirror.

I guess all in all what frustrates me is that like this team I set high expectations for the members of this forum, so it is obnoxious to see somebody who's opinion I really respect giving me reason not to respect it.

Hoping King catches 2 wins coming all the way from the East Coast! I can see a game 3 win without Nurk. Nurk comes back in game 4 and we pull it off and even the series.

one loss.....grumble...two losses back to back...restless natives...three losses....fire the coach and blow up the team...it's an endless circle...It's rare I can hang in a game thread anymore...the Nurk games were great...I enjoy the playoffs...last game was a clinker...played a great 3.5 qtrs. in two games...I enjoyed every minute of those.

While I love the blind homerism, wishing death and bodily harm on multiple to all players on an opponent is not ok. That's the only way Portland wins this series

KS knows.... Without Nurk we are a different team. We succeeded in spurts but we need to close them down. Nurk is the key player. He shows up on the floor and the team will respond. 030217_001_1.jpg
