Harkless plays really well off Nurkic. We need a shooter but that is more because our offense calls for one. I like Stotts but it is much easier to change our offense (preferably) or even ultimately the coach (down the line) then to get rid of as many players as everyone wants to because they don't fit right.

Uh, ok. Not sure where the excuse was but...

Harkless is one of the last people that need excuses on our team outside of our big 3. It is a cluster F all around him.

Here's a post from Sactown Royalty (the Kings' version of Blazers Edge) talking about the possibility of trades that would be of value for us. Suggests that they might be interested in Leonard in a salary dump, as well as possibly a trade-back (10 for 15/26). Also 205 comments worth of Kings fan reactions, so perhaps worth a look for an outsider's perspective.

Aminu is the only one I really want out of here. He is not an NBA player. Everyone else has possibilities.

Hmmm. Not sure I see the logic here. I'm also guessing most of you do not invest in the stock market.

Stotts: when Nurk was healthy Stotts was coach of the month and both offense and defense looked amazing. Can't imagine a scenario where he isn't given another year to see if he can make that work for a whole year.

Biebs and Crabbes: I'm frustrated by both also. But, you don't increase the overall value of the team by having a fire sale of players at their low point. Crabbe was having a great year up until the playoffs--give him some time to rebound. Biebs is a tall athletic guy who can shoot--no, I don't want him on the team long term--but, I would like to see him play without a busted shoulder and hip, at least to increase his trade value to someone who thinks he has potential.

Some of you guys want to turn us into the Orlando Magic.

I would disagree with your assertion about Crabbe having a great year. He shot well from 3. Aside from that, no. Now I wouldn't attach a pick to ship him off for nothing. However if there's a team out there interested in bringing him in for a small return (a pick or a younger, unproven player), I'd definitely be intrigued.

As for Leonard, I believe that his presence on the roster hurts the team, both in a present and future sense. Or in the terms you used, while I'd like him to be able to increase his trade value, I think it's more likely that any other player in that slot would appreciate in value more than Leonard will in the same amount of time. Sometimes, you have to simply accept the sunk cost of a devalued asset and divest yourself thereof rather than allow the asset to continue to depreciate. IMO, that's where we're at with Leonard. If we could somehow convince the Kings to give us Koufos in exchange for Leonard and a pick (for example), I think it would be a great move for the franchise.

I think we are pretty much on the same page on Crabbe. My point is he sucked in the playoffs, and better value may be had before the trade deadline. Otherwise we have to tie a bone around his neck to get the dog to play with him.

On Leonard, you may be right, and if we could get pennies on the dollar for him I would be open to that. I just don't think we need to pay someone a first round pick to get him off the team this summer (same dog and bone analogy as Crabbe).

I see several people ready to drop a first round pick just to get Biebs and Crabbe off the team. I think that is a mistake. But, I would happily take a less established player for either of them.

I hope their GM thinks similarly to some of their posters; they value Harkless and Leonard about the same!

    True, true.
But I'd still prefer for Meyers to be on the bench, not playing, than for Aminu to be getting regular rotation minutes. I thought he'd be fine as a back-up, but he's not - at least not playing for Tater "Do Anything You Want" Totts.

Yah I hear ya. I just refuse to believe that someone that is 7-1 and athletic doesn't have the potential to be an NBA player.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
It's all about the skillzzzz, son.

Qyntel Woods was a hell of an athlete and had great size too (for a wing).

You're trippin'. Aminu was killin' the dubs in game 4 and he plays well off the bench. Butters gives us NOTHING.

I wouldn't be sad to see him go but he's LIGHT YEARS better than butters. You're taking your Aminu hate to an all time high on that one....

Qyntel Woods could've been great. He had skills. It wasn't about skills with him.

I think a change of scenery is the best thing that could happen to Meyers. Move him closer to home and he'll be fine as a backup.

at this point id trade meyers for oden.

how the fuck he only in your 3rd tier?

    in order

    Meyley
any 2 of Turner, Crabbe, Harkless
Stotts for a coach with a clue.

Id give Ed another shot, ditto Aminu et al.

In some ways i think Stotts is the biggest thing impacting it all. Harkless used to play with fire, gone. Ed motivated, gone. Meyley had games of note, gone.

    Scott Skiles plz.
