I would be furious if he tried to dissolve the supreme court.

How silly do you want to get?

I'm not sure I'd call myself a trump supporter, I didn't vote for him, but he's the president so he gets my support until he does something to lose it. He could start unnecessary wars- both military and trade, he could hurt the economy, he could give in to social conservatives and pass what I feel is intrusive legislation just to name a couple examples.

So far the economy has been great. We've seen military rhetoric but that's all it is at this point. The immigration ban was a shit show but I, personally, don't even think he thought it would pass. He's so concerned about being liked I think he wanted to be able to say "Look, I tried to stop those evil muslims but the courts stopped me". That's not great but we elected a showman and that's what we got. But until he does something that causes actual harm, I support him.

Coincidentally, he's not going to; the deputy director will meet instead.

Meh... markets are up, earnings are up, valuations are fair, unemployment (and employment) are improving. Q1 GDP growth was slow but did still grow and Q1 is usually slow, I'd expect another Q2 rebound. I agree people are a little too confident but that's to be expected as we are 9 years from the last recession. Not sure what else you could want.

Its a false economy that will eventually come crashing down hard. America must fail and it will (and it has nothing to do with Trump).

Not true, he's been invited to meet with the Senate committee.

Senate panel invites Comey to testify next week

The Senate Intelligence Committee has invited ousted FBI Director James Comey to testify next week.

Democratic Sen. Mark Warner, the panel's vice chairman, said the committee sent a request Wednesday morning but has not heard back yet. Warner said the invitation went out with Republican committee chairman Sen. Richard Burr's consent.

It is not clear if the testimony would be public or closed.

"My hope is that he'll take advantage of this opportunity," Warner told reporters.

A solid outlook. The "not my president" crowd is absolutely ridiculous and is just another line to chant for the unemployed people protesting throughout the cities.

His narcissistic need to be liked is what IMO saves him from truly causing harm. I feel like your sentiment about the economy is a bit unfair though, what exactly has Trump done to boost the economy? Besides the stock market bump that occurred when Trump took office, how has he improved anything? Even that bump was hollow, as it was based on nothing but the thought of Trump being "pro-business" and will come down sooner or later. He screams "JOBS JOBS JOBS" but i'd be more likely to believe the economy's improvement is based off of Obama's actions more so than anything Trump has done. Obviously, Republicans never want to give a Democratic President credit (and vice versa), but I've got an open mind and if someone would be able to show me some concrete evidence of ways he has helped the economy I'd love to hear it out and get educated.
