One thing I'll say, Gorton better be sure we keep Lindberg. He has potential to be a real solid 3rd C I think. I'd also like to keep Fast for the 4th line, but Lindberg would be the first guy I ensure we keep.

Trade Stepan for a RD. Then have Zib, Hayes and Lindberg at C.

Personally I'd love for Vegas to take Raanta. He is a good backup, but we have goalie depth. Then we keep Lindberg, Fast and Grabner...all useful players for next season.

In order of who I would like to keep:

    1. Lindberg
    2. Fast
    3. Grabner
    4. Raanta

I mention those 4 because I think 1 of these guys is the most likely to get taken by Vegas.

Hank played great in the Worlds as Sweden won the gold over Canada in a shootout. Great to see. He can still be a top level goalie if we play some D in front of him.

Lindberg also played a big role for Sweden. As I wrote above, Gorton needs to be sure we do not lose this guy to Vegas. I think Gorton will ensure that. He can be the 3rd line C next season if we deal Stepan and go with Ziban, Hayes and Lindberg at C.

Wasn't too thrilled seeing Nylander jump on him but i guess it was a 'clean' takedown. Nice to see him win with his brother.

In 5 games at the World Championships, Oscar Lindberg had 2 assists, a plus 6 rating and 18:10 per game while helping Sweden win the Gold Medal.

Lindberg spent most of the tournament on a line with Washington's Nicklas Backstrom and Toronto's William Nylander.

Sweden's coach Rikard Gronborg said that despite Lindberg playing more of a defensive role with the Rangers, they view him as an offensive player who fit in well with Backstrom and Nylander. (HockeySverige)

Gronberg added that Lindberg is someone who can recover pucks and play with a physical bent as well. (HockeySverige)

Henrik Lundqvist said that Lindberg may not get a lot of credit for his game but praised his "speed," "finesse" and play with the Rangers this season. (HockeySverige)

Nicklas Backstrom said that Lindberg is an "incredibly good player" and someone who is tough to play against in the NHL and fun to play with in the World Championships. (HockeySverige)

Lindberg said that he doesn't mind going under the radar but said that it's nice to hear the praise from his teammates. (HockeySverige)

If Hellberg can play close to what Raanta does then I think he would be the one we can afford to lose most, but who knows if he can be an adequate backup. Could always sign another guy for 1m.
