Hey guys! I'm looking for a new TV for my living room. 65 inch +. Trying to find the best TV for the best deal. I have a Ps4 so compatibility with that is really important. I found this deal I thought was pretty but but maybe I should wait for 4th of July deals? http://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/vizio-65-inch-4k-ultra-hd-tv-e65-e0-ultra-hd-home-theater-display-uhd-tv/apd/a9611676/tv-home-theater?prg=1&VEN1=12578053-7060520-488fc9be-fba6-44a0-abfe-4abe9aa21047&AID=7060520&dgc=CJ&DGSeg=DHS&cid=198375&lid=45846&acd=12309198375458460&VEN3=111103803517564370 Any thoughts?
Vizio is a no go if you care at all about being able to get a HD tuner. They took out their tuner in their most recent models. http://www.techhive.com/article/304...-vizios-new-smart-tvs-dont-spark-a-trend.html I just picked up a 55" Sony 4k ultra HDR from Video Only. It was an open box but it I got it for about $300 less than Best Buy. I really like the Sony.
I don't care about the tuner to be honest. I'm probably going to cut my cable anyways and be connected to Netflix, HBOGo, Hulu and NBA League Pass when the season starts. I have a 45 inch Sony now but I probably got it in 2005. It's still going!
I really want to get a Sony because I have a Sony store right next door to me, but their tvs are like double the price of Samsung's that aren't that much worse. 700 bucks for a 43 inch is a no go for a cheap skate like me when the Samsung equivalent will be like 300 on black friday. I've even been looking at LGs.
I hear Samsung is the best followed by LG. Then in a slightly lower tier, Vizio. I hear good things though with Vizio.
The tuner is for cable cutting. It's so if you want to get an HD antenna you can get your local TV channels without paying for cable. With a Vizio you can't do that.
Can't go wrong with either Sony or Samsung for sure. Sounds weird, but my last 3 TVs have been open box deals from Best Buy and have never had an issue. There are always some on the showroom floor that aren't online. Good luck FAMS!
I barely use this but it works pretty good. I bought it to hook to my projector. The NFL looks amazing at 135 inches. I just don't watch much tv.
Depends on how much you want to spend. This, IMO, is the best TV made. LG makes more expensive versions that have the same picture but other bells and whistles you don't need to pay for. The 55" is $1,000 less.
Go to slickdeals.com and wait like a week for some crazy deal. Got a 65" Samsung 4K tv for around $700 shipped a few months ago.
Yup. Excellent site. Good forum area too. Been on there for awhile now, and it has saved me a bunch of cash.
So, I went with the Samsung for 1k including shipping and taxes. Excited about my acquisition! Samsung UN65MU6300FXZA 65" 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2017 Model)
So my Insignia Roku TV isn't turning on. Tried troubleshooting it and no Bueno may have to throw it the gutter and go buy another. 4 or 5 years old. Bedroom TV 55". May downsize the size as it's pretty huge for a bedroom I guess. May replace with a Samsung, who knows. The replacement insignia is only $279 I think.
