    I'm down with that, buddy.

MIP? Not MVP? Why are you such a hater, dviss? Your complete lack of faith in Nurkic makes me sad. Did you even watch him last year?

If he's healthy then he has a good chance to run away with it honestly.

Given our history with centers, this seems an unnecessary tweaking of the nose of hubris.

    Tweaking the knee of hubris?

I'm sure he'll be fine. Past isn't always prologue.

Lame response. Positivity is the key. We've been too gunshy for far too long.

I'm positive Nurk is meant for us.

I'm just getting started! I think you're forgetting that the Nurk we saw in Portland already WAS hugely improved over the Denver Nurk. I actually expect a little regression, particularly given our experience with players like Aminu, Ed Davis and even Kaman, who wowed us when he first arrived.

I completely disagree. I think having training camp, practice, and more time with the team is going to only make him better. Regression... why? He's going to be healthy, in shape, and MUCH more acclimated to the system. He's coming in with a much improved mid range jumper and this is a contract year. Regression?

It's the perfect storm for an M.I.P. season.

Negative people default to negative expectations. Often to avoid disappointment.

Logically there is no reason to expect he'll regress.

He'll be the unchallenged starter as well. He's set up for success. Plus everyone loves him.

I want him to develop his low post game, cause theres a lot to improve in that area, and if he has same or even bigger role than last season, theres no doubt he will improve, but would also love to see our offense run through him and see him shooting more from mid range

basically, let him show everything hes got, let him flourish completely this season

Hurricane Jusuf is going to do some serious damage in the NBA this season.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
This forum hasn't been this jazzed over how a mid-season acquisition played since Darius Miles!

I'm kidding, I think. I'll still wait to see him do it for a full season before I anoint him our lord and savior.

    But I'm encouraged. <---positivity
