Being the person who actually pressed the "Ban" button on Mixum.... I don't miss him at all he was the epitome of a troll and because he was a "fan" was mostly defended for having his opinion, and it was a great debate among the moderators ultimately the Admins saw the discourse and gave us the green light. If he had claimed to be a fan of any other team he would have been banned very quickly. Start an inflammatory thread then never even reply to it that was his game.

There is a really simple answer to all the distress about Evan Turners contract. All we have to do is look at the Nets. Forsaken team nobody wants to go to and they are stuck with having to offer ugly loaded MAX contracts for RFA players. They can't get players of appropriate talent to sign there for appropriate value... Nor can the Blazers. Portland is paying Turner $17.1 mil in the 2nd season of a 4 year deal, comparatively his real value last summer to a "Hot" destination was probably around $12mil... Then we can also factor the cap not going up by what was anticipated and likely going down next summer and comparing that to contracts being signed this summer and Turner probably is a $10mil a year guy, but there is only one constant in this, and that is Portland is never going to be a "hot" free agent destination unless they are competing for titles and have cap space.

You can use the cap wrinkle of not going up and probably going down to shave some $$$ off what Leonard and Harkless make vs what they should make too. Crabbe, we're just another victim to Brooklyn and the Wizards are about to land their Albatross.
