I'm in the same boat as you but I still enjoyed the documentary. But I can't force you to watch it lol
Yeah that's what I thought too. That's happened multiple times that I can think of. I think lebron was the most recent a few years ago. And that was by Nike... after years of him having his own shoe. I'd be more surprised if Lonzos shoe was actually comfortable.
100% Agreed. The exception is if it is relevant to the subject. But bumping a 2015 thread on x player to say they signed a good FA deal rather than posting that in the FA thread is annoying. Just quote yourself from the old thread in the new thread, that way when someone clicks to go to your quote it will take them to the old thread... If the other thread wasn't moved to purgatory I would have posted this there because I somewhat agree with boboa statement.
Especially when it's their own thread that they are bumping (which seems to be the case 99% of the time). The VERY best is the bump with some random Joe's Twitter post....
I hoard kicks as well, but I wear them. It's more about taking care of the shoes you do buy. You take care of them and they will last you a lifetime. Clean them when you get home. Don't step in shit. Don't let your heel drag too bad when you're driving. Etc. There's just something about having the cleanest pair in the room. And chicks dig it. @HCP , your setup is dope as fuck, kudos.
Man, I went out in a pair of all white/ translucent sole high sb dunks the other night, shitfaced like a fucking wino. Woke up like "shit, did I ruin them?!" Nah, still icy as fuck.
I think there's a world of difference between how you collect versus what I think of when I think of the stereotypical sneaker head - the guys who camp out to drop $1Ks of dollars for a limited release. The guys who buy multiples of limited releases to sell on eBay. The guys who hire homeless people to wait in line for them and/or buy additional merchandise to get around the 1-per-person policies. The Supreme fucbois. The sort of people that the signed Lonzo Ball shoes were meant for...but even they have too much taste for that shit.
What are the HATERS saying about Lonzo's 36 points? Kinda silent... Now understand, I want the MF to fail for a different reason than his loudmouth daddy (he literally wears a piss yellow uni), but the silence on this one is pretty deafening...
It was a good game. I still hope he fails, for the same reason I mentioned in the other thread--he's a Laker. I'd be hoping for his success if he were a Blazer and indifferent if he played for any other team.
Thanks brother. Ya, I clean mine all the time. Taught my son some old school tricks like a tooth brush and Barbosol shaving cream.
Ball's game reminds me of JKidd even more and more every game. Same court vision and skills if you ask me.
