Not that I'm condoning either, but as a general rule, I think most people tend to drive too slow when stoned, and too fast when drunk. And by "too slow", I mean the speed limit.
Dude, bad timing award. http://www.kgw.com/news/local/two-people-trapped-in-car-under-15k-pound-tractor/463282146
Lmao I was blazed as hell the other night and my buddy is like "bro why you doing 55, it's the back roads" I responded with "cause it's the speed limit"
The debate between pot and alcohol is simple......just don't fucking drive if you do either. Your reaction time is effected. Same as it is when you are responding to a text , messing with the radio, eating a burger and or just being stupid like so many drivers normally are. Over 40,000 people died in traffic "accidents" last year in the US. ( Is being stupid really an accident?) It amazes me how upset people get when we lose a fraction of those numbers in combat (and rightly so) but have no outrage about the millions of morons who drive our streets every day. The real combat zone is on our freeways. We care if you are stoned or drunk while driving, but not if you just happened to be careless or stupid. We are outraged by 15,000 murders but not a peep about 40,000 traffic deaths?
well said....I've been hit by a drunk driver before...totaled my car and destroyed a lot of equipment....I was going 55 in the slow lane and the cops clocked him at 135 also in the slow lane .....looked in the rear view mirror and just saw an endless ribbon of headlight...too late It was Christmas Eve
