How am I acting like I am better than them? I say hey guys how about fuck both sides. I am not sitting here using one side to pander to you or talk about feminism or whatever other PC bullshit people spew just to sound like they are above all. People do that in here a lot, they will attack one person over one tiny little view that opposes theirs so they jump on the morale high ground train and act like you just committed a crime with what you said

It was more to show you how everyone does similar bullshit as "virtue signalers", including me, and including you. I was doing this to hopefully curb your use of the term "virtue signaler" because you've overused the hell out of that term. You seem to put some thought into you're opinions, I believe you could do without saying "This is virtue signalling, that is virtue signalling, they are virtue signalling, that dog is virtue signalling, etc. etc.".

Everyone "virtue signals." Everyone just has different ideas of what virtue is. For you, "centrism" is the virtue.

That's not the point. The point is people exaggerate their opinions to show off to others.

And then get exasperated when you dare to disagree with the 100 percent no doubt issue they are showing off about.

no, not everybody virtue signals. It's the most common thing within the left and now some people on the right are starting to do it, sounding like the left. It's a joke

yeah I remember when I said that I say the word gay here and immediately got jumped on by a million people here trying to change how I say it and saying I was this and that. That's virtue signaling."Oh look how morally superior I am to you, that was wrong and I am gonna tell you it was wrong even though I probably do fucked up shit behind closed doors". Nothing is good enough for these types of people and they use events like this one in charlottesville to further their agenda politically and just act like they are so great

That is because we are better than you for not using the word "gay" as a pejorative. Pretty simple.

No, not really. Maybe some people have a sense of humor. PC is a very dangerous thing happening in society today

    Wow... just wow...

People who are speaking out against racism and bigotry aren't doing it because they abhor it, they do it to

    "further their agenda"...

    Wow...

Stop listening to the media (the people who created the term PC) and form your own opinion about it. You wouldn't even know about that term if it wasn't for the media programming it into you.

You're still not even understanding why it's wrong to use the word gay to talk down about something.

And there's no sense of humor in using gay as a pejorative.

Please, enlighten us on why it's funny...

what? why did you put in quotes "further their agenda". Oh because you think I am talking about black people, jesus christ dviss you reach on everything. No, you must be blind to see, go look at twitter. Celebrities all of a sudden give a shit about certain issues but disregard a ton others. As long as they get that status and retweets, likes, etc. People just wanna be liked these days, the easiest thing to do is just go along with the same opinions without researching or anything. Just spew it out. This agenda I am talking about is the real fascists. They try to control free speech, what you say and can't say even if it's a joke by a comedian. Our schools are bombarded with this bullshit and it's become okay to spread lies and misinformed information or to overreact and just be outraged. There is a war on free speech in this country and it's a problem.

First off, I don't know if you reach much of my opinions or comments but I don't watch the news, CNN or fox because it's all bullshit. I form my own opinions unlike a lot of people on this forum including you. You literally only repeat whatever Portlanders say to you or what you are taught. I don't use gay in public, I use it among close close friends. I am not against gay people by any means and this is the last time I am repeating this. If you wanna question it go ahead but I am the least bit homophobic, I just am sorry that you don't have a sense of humor

Damn, you know years ago it was fine to say it. Now the PC culture has completely eliminated it as they continue to control free speech. The real fascists. Take this clip for instance. I say given the context it was used for great comedic value. Unfortunately Seth Rogen panders now on twitter and is a PC guy himself. Damn look at all the comments under the video too, must be a lot of homophobes in the country. Or maybe people just have a sense of humor and not just some stick up their ass constantly pretending

There can be. Most of the time it isn't. I'll say anything if I think it is funny AND inventive. I won't make a gay joke even if it is just funny. Has to be both. To me that is, your opinions may vary.

Yeah, except I perceive a lot of people doing that, on this forum, that aren't liberals. When it's "PC bullshit," you guys call it virtue signaling. When it's your stuff, like how much you don't care what people think or how totally for free expression you are, you do exactly the same thing but prefer not to call it virtue signalling.
