I got going with another member over these in another thread and thought I'd post them. A lot of players have different heights according to different websites and a lot of fans speculate on how tall a lot of players really are. Based off of measurements the last three years at the camp, here are some of the more interesting ones. Remember, this is when the player was measured, players can possibly still grow, but it's fun none the less. And all these measurements are in-shoes, which is how the NBA does height. http://www.insidehoops.com/chicago-camp-measurements.shtml Charlie Villanueva 6'9" 1/2 Marvin Williams 6'8" 1/2 Danny Granger 6'8" 1/2 Channing Frye 6'10" 1/2 Nate Robinson 5'9" Rudy Gay 6'8" Delonte West 6'2" 3/4 Ryan Gomes 6'7" 3/4 Paul Millsap 6'7" 1/4 Craig Smith 6'6" 1/2 Thought some of you guys would fine this interesting, has heights, weights and armspan numbers.
Out of that list, the ones that amaze me the most are Paul Milsap and Craig Smith. Both are relentless on the glass, and for Milsaps size, he is actually a good scorer around the glass. Whenever I watch Craig Smith play, I fall in love with his game. He isnt very talented, but he is so strong and one of the best offensive rebounders, especially for his size. I loved him in college for because.
Granger, Danny 6' 7?" 6' 8?" 225.4 7' 1?" 8' 7" :dribble: :dribble: This one surprised me:Maxiell, Jason 6' 5" 6' 6?" 257.6 7' 3?"A 7'3" wingspan for a 6'6" dude? Undbelievable!Another one:Ellis, Monta 6' 2?" 6' 3?" 176.6 6' 2?" 8' 2"Monta can sure can dunk for someone with such a short height and with such a short armspan!Anyone know what T-Mac was listed at officially when he was drafted?
Look at Shawne Williams's numbers PFF, he is 6'8" 3/4 in shoes. He's pretty much 6'9" Official draft measurements were not avilable to the public when T-Mac was drafted, there was hardly any draft media back then that would care to have them.
