Okay, that's better. Heurtel is pretty good. Thought it would be Diot because coach loves him

Didn't get any minutes today, even in an OT game. The thrill is gone!

Lauri Markkanen has eclipsed Blazers-that-never-was Petteri Koponen as Finland's best player. Lest you think this is no big deal, he's also one of the leading scorers in the tournament so far:

Wonder what this means for Chicago's interest in re-signing Nikola Mirotic.

Spain is the Warriors of Eurobasket. I don't see anyone who could make them even raise a sweat. Their traditional foes are missing all their best players:
    France: Gobert, Batum, Parker
    Serbia: Jokic, Teodosic, Bjelica
    Greece: Antetokounmpo
I don't even know who's the second best team at the moment.

Being Hungarian I'm biased but Adam Hanga is going to be a beast once the Spurs bring him over. He just signed with Barcelona for big money but I expect him to come over once Ginobili finally retires. Lockdown defender. Shit, I'd love to see Portland trade for his rights. Can guard three positions. Can handle the ball. Clutch player.

Agreed, but he's no longer a spring chicken. Isn't he pushing 30?

    Players having a great Eurobasket:
    Porzingis
    Makkanen
    Los Bros Hernangomez
Anyone with a last name Bogdanovic
    Rubio (especially steals-wise)
    Saric
    Dragic
    Luka Doncic
    Alexsei Shved
    Dennis Schroder
Gabe Olaseni (although GB has lost every game handily)

    Players having a bad Eurobasket:
Dragan Bender. I had high hopes for him but he's starting to look very Tskitishvili-esque. Still young, but not as young as Doncic, who is streets better. But at least Bender is playing for Croatia, unlike Mario Hezonja.

Fellow Hungarian Blazer fan here :) Whattup! I was bummed too that the Spurs didn't bring him over as the NBA might be too big of an adjustment as he gets older. Gotta admit I don't follow non-NBA basketball much but from these past few games he certainly looked like he can play in the league.
