    What's kind of annoying is that all teenagers seem to be wearing them at the moment, so if I wear mine it looks like I think I'm trying to be cool.

    But the picture only shows the inside/arch area of the shoe. I'd assume the outside will have more style.

    At the moment? Teenagers have been wearing Converse All Stars for many many years. I've been wearing them since I was in the 6th grade. I doubt I've ever been without at least a black low top pair in my regular shoe rotation since then.

    Not in Michigan. Here Chucks are currently as omnipresent among the youth as Dr. Martens were in the early 90s.

    Yes, Vans are very popular right now. My kids have a few pairs. But Vans have also been fairly popular for a very long time.
