Very obvious to me that Judge and Sanchez studied at the school of Jeter in terms of what it means to be a professional and a Yankee. Let's hope Jeter doesn't teach that to well to the Marlins, lol. I kid actually, would be great to see baseball collectively get it right. Especially with NFL and NBA flailing culturally.
LOL, he IS the self anointed Captain of the clubhouse and showers.... ie, Cap'n Fantastic with his Sailin' Shoes....
1- Judge looks like a future shoe in for a Team Captain, and there has only been 2 Outfielders as Team Captains; Babe in 1922, and Wee Willie from 1908-1909. Imo Team captains are better located in the infield or behind the plate. Field Generals who used to align their team mates positions, now done by the dugout brass.... I'd have no prob with an OF'r for a TC, and not Gardy.... 2- There's a Evil Empire in the NCAA, never too late to convert to a Crimson Tide Fan, brotha'...No Hockey??? What's wrong with you, LOL....!!! - (just busting your balls Tote)...
...there's an obvious common denominator for the reason behind the difference in "cultural failing" when comparing the NFL and NBA, vs MLB.
...next year may very well be his last...his contract is guaranteed through next year only...the Yanx have a team option for the following year when he turns 35.
...couldn't very well come right out and say it...because if I did I'd wrongly be labeled "a racist"...which I suppose is as bad as wrongly being labeled " a libtard".
