I will take the Spurs who are still good, who have been playing great as of the last 20 games, and who know how to win in the playoffs.</div>They beat the Mavs 2 years ago in 6 games, beat a good Clippers team last year with neither of their 2 inside presences, and brought the Mavs to 6 games without those 2 inside players and their best shooter/perimeter defender being healthy. Their team this year is better than the 2 previous years, much better.I respect your opinion with the Spurs, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they won it all again. But Phoenix, with their overwhelming speed against the Spurs old, somewhat slow, and shallow (compared to previous years) team, I think would be too mcuh for the Spurs in a 7 game series to overcome.

I think the Suns would fair well against the Spurs... remember Amare's 04-05 playoff binge against them? 30+ pts and 10+ rbs per game. He abused them.

I still miss it :cry2: :cry2: He was already better than Shawn Kemp before he blew his knee out.

Still a little lacking laterally, but he is a better overall player now. Jumpshot, rebounding defense....all better.

Nitro1118 is right... This year's Suns team is deeper & Amare doesn't need to do as much. His numbers are down, but his athleticism and scoring abilities are right where they were 2 yrs ago.

The Suns will inevitably get back to the WCF again this year against either a San Antonio or a Dallas.... The question is, can they make it over the hump to reach the Finals for the first time since 1993?
