Right now, we're at 5th and will stay there if Denver loses tonight. So as the standings are now, we would be able to get to WCF without having to play GS or SA. How do you feel about a Minnesota/Portland first round series regardless of HCA? I'd be very happy with 5 seed even if it meant Denver or OKC in first round. Either way, I think we'd have a great shot at second round. What do you think?
Harden and cp3 VS dame and CJ Toss up Tater tots VS Dantoni We’re fucked. Dantoni has the team that Stotts wishes he had. And Stotts will try to beat him at small ball.
I could care less what our current, middle, or end seeding is. The only grading chart I care about is if the team can improve over the course of the year. I think most, if not all, of us accept if this current edition is to seriously compete, it will be a few years from now. If we're ever to get there, we'll need to start working that learning curve. Honestly, a lot of the time, I don't see much difference between now and two years ago when this post Aldridge edition began.
I care. Progressing through the course of the season hasn't seemed to mean much. We have done this the last two years in a row and each start of the next season seem to regress. To only have to progress like madmen midway through just to be competitive. Yes, I too want to see improvement as the year goes on, but I am no longer as optimistic as I used to be that that means we will be better next year, than this year. I HOPE so though.
If we get the 4th or 5th seed playing the way we have been, it means the West is not nearly as strong as it has been in the past in most seasons.
We are playing better to start the season than we did last year when we promptly fell 9 games below .500.
Stotts always experiments with the roster early in the season...then settles on 9 or 10 guys from the allstar break on..
