Bellator 193 is only six days later and probably won't feature another HWGP bout. Hopefully they don't spread them out too much and wind up taking forever. Mitrione vs. Nelson is a full month after Sonnen/Jackson.
Guess they figure Rampage and Sonnen is sexier to the casual fan than McDonald and Lima. Can't really blame Bellator on that one.
Bellator pulled a UFC against Affliction MMA move tonight and decided to counter program a PPV card with good and free MMA. The move worked for me, because I am going to watch Bellator instead of UFC 220 because I do not have to pay any extra to watch. Plus, I think Rory is the best Welterweight on the planet when his mind is right and always worth it to watch.
I'm going to the bar but I wish I would watch Bellator until the UFC co-main. The UFC undercard is trash. I don't want to miss Rory, either. So-so on Sonnen/Page after Sonnen's last performance.
They booked 12 prelim fights for this event. I believe they are still going now after the main event? Why does Bellator do this?

Rory guts out a very difficult victory to claim his first world title. His shin and nose are both banged the fuck up. Sonnen back to his old self. Sonnen vs. either Mir or Fedor is a weird ass fight.
Sonnen is gonna get finished viciously by Mir or Fedor, who ever it is he fights after this. Rampage was completely out of shape and clearly did not train for this fight and Chael still couldn't land much offense. Just controlled the cage.
Rampage has no business fighting in America ever again. Dude is toast. Either go fuck off in Japan or retire with some dignity. Some sick part of me wants to see Fedor/Sonnen.
