1- Let's begin with Moose, Mike Mussina. If only he'd of been around another year, he'd be wearing a W.S. Ring....? Maybe, He was a key contributor in t/Yanks 01, and 03 seasons, hell every Yanx Season. Earlier O's too...

Since Jack Morris will be enshrined, with 254 Wins, a .577 Win Pctg, and a big game winner. 3 W.S. Rings with 3 AL Teams, imo, long deserved a HOF'r....

Often a the front end starter for both the O's and Yanx. Moose in his early days could throw 100 mph high heat, with tricky pitcher's finesse mentality, with speed, cunning, and hard ass breaking sliders, or off speed curves. Moose was a work horse.... 7 Gold Gloves as well. 18 yrs, same as Palmer.

Jim Palmer, yep he too has 3 W.S. Rings; AND both Palmer and Mussina have .638 Lifetime Win Percentages. Moose's entire career, much like Palmer's existed in an era when Pitching one's complete career in the AL East meant more so demanding a task, than doing such, in any other lg or division...
Moose 18 yrs: 270 Wins - 153 L , 3.68 Life Era, 3,562 IP. I'd give the beneift of the 'era of the DH, ntm Juicers' with his Era, or should I...
    Palmer 19 yrs: 268 W/152 L, 3,949 IP, a Lifetime 2.86 era.

    this from a Twitter feed/blog-
    Mike Mussina

Mussina is one of the more underrated pitchers, not just in our generation, but in history alone. A true marksman of his time, not many people remember Mussina as a pitcher with such finesse. Since 1871, there are only three pitchers with at least 2,500 strikeouts and a K/BB ratio of 3.5 or better. Those three are Mike Mussina, Pedro Martinez, and Curt Schilling. He sustained success over his whole career, leaving him with 270 wins and even went 20-9 in his final season, while posting a 5.2 WAR. Only four pitchers have ended their career with a 5+ WAR season, and Koufax is one of them. Mussina gets my vote.

I'd give Moose a thumbs up....
    or 2... :twothumbs:

2- I'd give Edgar Martinez a thumbs up, for many reasons, more than noted herein...

I saw another article on DH's in the HOF, from a Papi, fan, stating if his beloved Bosox deserves to get in, then Edgar surely does (Edgar has a leg up in OPS+, wOBA, and fWAR).. His beloved Papi's a known cheater, liar of a Juicer too.... should I discredit the comment solely based on any fkng papi fans views, hell yes. But Edgar still deserves his spot, (Shrek does NOT).

    Edgar a lifteim.312 B'Avg, a sweet .412 OBP, (.266/.325 in 38 PS games).

I know not one PS series doth a HOF'r make; who can ever forget his destruction of t/Yanks 95- ALDS with a .517 B'avg, .667 OBP, 10 RBI's in 5 ALDS games in 95....!!! Not sure whether to swear or tilt the hat.....? Mine's off to Edgar :tiphat:

    A
    s for-
3- Chipper Jones: The easiest slam dunk pick on the entire HOF Ballots, imo... :twothumbs::tiphat:

your thoughts, on these and others....????

^^^Matts. I agree with all of your picks...especially with Mussina. "Moose" was consistent, durable, pitched in what was at that time, the toughest division in Baseball, and also pitched during the steroids era.

Glad to see Morris selected, admired his craft. Always wondered if Steinbrenner had black & blue marks all over his ass from kicking it for not giving Morris a shot back in '86. Was glad to see Trammel get in there as well. Jones should be a shoe in, Mussina as well. If people think that "Big Sloppi" will get in than put Edgar in there for making those stats of his staying clean.
