don't even bother in the stores, Home Deport or Lowes to label the sections in English. To compound the problem, since all the electrical parts are made in Mexico these days, they don't even bother to have bilingual packages. The help, nice enough they are, but they only work with English un poquito.

It makes projects quite a bit longer to complete, at least that is my hope.

Ya. I like it. Im surprised cause 1mil population doesnt bother me much. Helps that most people are polite. In SC populations was like 30k and everyone was a piece of shit.

I was talking to a medical rep who had a house in Oxnard, sounded really weird because she was a blonde white girl and I wouldn't expect. come to find out that she had a beach house out there.

Oxnard is a farming community. Kind of like Woodburn or some shit like that.

Don't be. @MarAzul often has complaints about the brown people making his life harder.

I remember in junior high or thereabouts us thinking Oxnard was a really funny name for a town.

Funny. My family has a farm in Woodburn. And my Mexican wife has family in Oxnard. Coincidence?

Its weird because while there is a lot of mexicans in oxnard for farming, there is also a pretty nice marina/beach area.

Oxnard is very nice. Fresh fruit and produce locally and a beautiful Marina on a rather calm sea, the Santa Barbara Channel.

Actually, I wonder if the store management has actually thought this through. When I was returning from the store, the High School on Gonzalez street was over for the day. Must have been 200 kids crossing the street in front of me as I sat at the light. A sea of black haired kids!
Ha! not another shade in sight. My Copper Blond grand kids would stick out like a blinking light!

But I did notice the kids were speaking English in their banter back and forth. Second or third generation most of them, I suspect. Will the Spanish only sit well with them?

I did finally get the right electrical plug.
