Funny how a game that originally was mostly watched by conservatives, veterans and Americans who played the game either in school or professionally, is now primarily watched by snowflakes who don't even know the actual rules of the game. The majority of my friends who now follow football are women who are into fantasy football.
Super Bowl ratings are always big, but just how big were the ratings for this year’s installment? The Hollywood Reporter has the early numbers: Super Bowl LII pulled a 47.4 overnight rating. That’s a 3 percent drop from the 2017’s Super Bowl 51, which pulled a 48.8 in early numbers. That 3 percent decline from 2017 isn’t a huge slide, but it represents an eight-year low in household viewership for the Super Bowl. It is, however, a 9 percent increase over the last Eagles-Pats Super Bowl in 2005. Link
They missed a hell of a game. It was the first one in forever that i seriously considered skipping. Glad i didn't.
we had a big rainstorm in Tampa so the OTA didn't work, and in FL sling doesn't carry NBC proper. We had to, uh, get creative with our Super Bowl viewing.
Kind of ironic that the "8 year low" is still ratings that the NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS and the President of the United States would absolutely KILL for.
I was in a room where it was on but i think i watched about 3 plays. I was more concerned about eating a dozen tacos and 3 slices of cake
watched it in a venue with three huge movie screens, just me and a few friends. cleaning up/ turning everything off after the game, a couple bottles in was...challenging. great game!
