The only thing I was able to find was that he was sitting out the year to make sure he is fully healed and ready for next year. Another article mentioned that he was just starting to do a little bit of running and movement and that was in December.

Henderson played well for us. A huge contributor to our surprising success the first year after LMA left. He's also an example of a guy we rented and let go for nothing. Not because we were capped out, but because we wanted his salary for cap space.
Joe Cronin is the brains when it comes to that. He knows his shit. Has this dry erase board in his office floor to ceiling with every player’s contract status written down. He’s all over it.
Sign him to the tax-MLE for 4 years! I think if he plays this year it really screws Miami over like what Memphis did to us with Darius Miles.
Nah, he'd mess up our 3rd youngest team narrative. Better sign Papagiannis so we can claim that we're the 2nd youngest team!
I can’t see anyone signing bosh right now. Maybe in the summer. Probably the same with Henderson. My guess is we’ll go the ten day route, assuming Baldwin doesn’t have to be converted.
Well, Baldwin hasn’t been sent down to the g league (they don’t even have games until next week) so I guess we’ll be converting his contract. Then again, they could always send him down later. They could also sign him and still play around with ten day contracts, but what’s the point, those guys wouldn’t get in the rotation anyway.
I'm not sure how many "contending" teams really would take a chance on him considering the health risks involved. Everyone knows he can play. But I think Bosh is seriously not thinking this out. He's achieved everything, and it's a little selfish to his family to risk it. Sure! if there's NO risk to dying out there on the floor, then let'er rip. But his condition seems to not allow for that.
