when I came to this forum I was told no personal insults are allowed and everyday I read personal insults especially in the off topic forum. Much more than I ever had at Oregon Live.
We try to keep them out of here. I am the only person you can insult around here. Rasheed knows that is showing everyone how edgy he is.
The mods do miss some things. But there is a rule in place where if you attack the post, not the poster. Then it's not a personal insult. For example... Cupwizier, everything you post is worthless. Your posts are ignorant, uninformed and generally a waste of time to read. Nothing you've ever posted is worth the time it takes to read. The other loophole that has been allowed is if you do the following. When quoting someone other than @SlyPokerDog and intending to personally insult them. If you insert @SlyPokerDog then you can slide the rules. As either sly will edit the post, or just leave it because it's technically an attack on sly, not another poster. Are these two loopholes actually personal insults? Possibly, but also possibly not. The owner of this forum LOVES grey area it's how he stays interested in posting on this forum.

It's not that kind of drug problem. Interventions are for people who can be reasoned with. My brother in law can't be reasoned with. He's the kind of person who hears voices. He has brain damage from bad shrooms. The guy is on social security because he cannot get a job and he can't take care of himself. He has the social skills of a child, but he's the size of a linebacker and he's violent. As I said, my in laws have tried everything. They have tried to get him into specialized programs. They have tried to have him committed to hospitals. Nobody will keep him. The cops don't want him until he commits a felony. They just keep giving him probation.

You are plotting the overthrow of our government while increasing the probability of more murders. And you are taking no action at all against murderers, or even likely future murderers. Instead, you chase red herrings and strawmen. Here are constructive steps to decrease even further our murder rate, which has decreased steadily since the 60's. It is currently less than half what it was when I was a child. 1. Outlaw murder. - Did that. 2. Arrest all murderers. - Roughly 40% now because we waste LEO dollars on pot, SWAT gear and fancy cop cars. 3. Convict all murderers. - Stop plea dealing. Hired killers walk in exchange for naming their employers ALL THE TIME. Mandatory death sentence for hired killers And those who hire them. 4. Imprison all murderers for life or execute them. - Close to 1/3 of all convicted murderers serve less than 5 years in prison. 5. Never parole or pardon any murderers. Ever.

What terminology would you suggest for pointing out the flaws that arise when posters don't know what they are talking about?
Of course not. You want to disarm everyone but yourself, just like riverman does. You guys are why The Second Amendment needs to exist.
