In three team head to head, Utah is 5-2, Denver is second and SA has a terrible record. Utah will have that three way tiebreaker.
Well yeah, isn't that what the standings are?? If the season ended today, these are the standings. Or should we just list the teams alphabetically until the season is over?
Please let me know how 3 teams tied with 15 games to go has anything to do with listing them alphabetically? Then again, I could say 2+2 is 4 and you'd find some way to tell me how I was wrong. I love that you pay so much attention to almost every post. I'm flattered....lol.
I'm saying that the standings including the current tiebreakers are always listed AS THEY NOW STAND. The Jazz currently have the tiebreaker so they are currently in 8th. ESPN.com, NBA.com, TNT etc get this but for some reason you don't. I have nothing against you personally. The Jazz are 8th. As of now. In the actual standings. As of now, they aren't tied.
And the alphabetical comment wasn't clear I guess. My point was that if you have to wait til the end of the season to rank teams, you might as well list them alphabetical until the season is closed. That no rankings matter til then. I'm right on this. Nothing against you personally.
@KingSpeed ...you are always right. No one else should ever even post or have an idea, opinion or fact that doesn't 100% agree with yours. We are all humbled.
Blazers: 41-26, next 6 - vs Warriors(W), vs Heat(W), vs Cavs, vs Pistons, vs Clippers, @ Rockets. Getting tougher...projected 4-2 Thunder: 40-29, next 6 - vs Suns(W), vs Spurs(W), vs Kings(W), @ Hawks, vs Clippers, @ Raptors. Pretty easy...projected 5-1 Pelicans: 38-28, next 6 - @ Kings(W), vs Wizards(L), vs Jazz(L), vs Hornets, @ Spurs, vs Rockets. Easy stretch...projected 5-1 Wolves: 39-29, next 6 - vs Celtics(L), vs Warriors(W), @ Wizards, @ Spurs, vs Rockets, vs Clippers. Tough stretch...projected 3-3 Clippers: 36-29, next 6 - vs Cavs(W), vs Magic(W) @ Bulls, @ Rockets, @ Thunder, vs Blazers. Tough stretch...projected 2-4 Jazz::::: 37-30, @ Grizzlies(W), @ Pacers(W), @ Pelicans(W), vs Pistons, vs Suns, vs Kings. Not too bad....projected 4-2 Nuggets: 37-30, next 6 - vs Cavs(L), vs Lakers(W), vs Kings(W), @ Lakers, vs Pistons, @ Grizzlies. Pretty easy....projected 4-2 Spurs: 37-30, next 6 - @ Warriors(L), @ Thunder(L), @ Rockets(L), vs Magic, vs Pels, vs Wolves. Brutal stretch....projected 2-4 Blazers have opened up a 3-game lead in the loss column but still need to keep winning. Thunder get an easy game next against the Hawks....almost one of those 'guaranteed' wins. Spurs falling fast. It's possible that BOTH the Spurs and the Cavs won't have HCA this year....who imagined that at the beginning of the season?
I told anyone who would listen that the Spurs wouldn't win 50 games this year and I got trashed for it. Especially by @HCP. Well HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW BITCHES?! Popovich is the most over-rated coach the NBA has ever seen. He rode Timmy's coattails to all the success he's had.
Here's a stat for you: According to 538.com (accessed 3/13/18 AM), we are twice as likely to win the NBA finals as we are to miss the playoffs (2% to 1%).
