Ankle trouble has been a problem for Curry all season long. They may not MVP Curry in this year's playoffs and without him, they aren't that great. I should note though that we did beat a fully healthy Warriors team at the start of our win streak.
I want Warriors. Rockets are really good, maybe Warriors are slighty better because of 4 All-Stars, but we have better matchup for them. Nurk vs Capela isn't that good, but against JaVale and Zaza we could make them problems. Last year we almost got that win in the 1st game with monster games of Dame and CJ, we should won at least 2 this season. Hope never dies.
I wish Nurk had played in that series especially with the run we were on with him. I think we could've won the series, I do.
"Healthy Warriors", like "Healthy Spurs" may be a myth. We'll have to wait and see. The last game of the season is less than a month away.
If Nurk plays any where near like he did last night we can play anybody and have a real chance to win. Surprisingly we are still growing as a team. Go Collins Go! Beating the Warriors would solidify Dame as an MVP candidate.....as far as national media goes. We already know it. I think beating the W's would be the most satisfying. The series win could be the thing that makes free agents look closer at joining P town.
Honestly I don't like playing this game since: 1) We the fans, even the team, has no control over the issue 2) We don't know for certain that GSW & Houston will be in the second round; yes, more likely than not, but anyone who has followed sports knows you never know 3) I want the team to have the attitude that their opponent needs to fear THEM. That they are going to beat whoever they face. None of this who do we match up better against, who has more injuries blah blah blah. Portland has won 10 consecutive games. They can beat anyone.
Man, you said it. Harden is definitely bastardizing the game. Even with the harden Rule, he scammed his way into the lead MVP spot. I heard an analyst call him one of the smartest players...that’s like calling someone who sucker punches people a good fighter or a con artist a good business man...
