Yes. Which happens all the time in new administrations. (In many cases, you don't even have to "piss off the wrong guy", you just have to have been appointed by someone with a different () behind their name than the new guy)

But what makes this special seems twofold: 1) Sessions seems to have tried to go out of his way to let the guy walk off into the sunset and spare the administration the "atmospherics" behind firing a guy right before his benefits kick in, and then 2) saying "Fuck it, there is proof that this dude did his job in a manner worth firing for cause. Get him out now." I'd like to think, similar to Flynn, there's a pour encouragement les autres aspect of this (if you wait until we find dirt, it's going to go poorly for you) but there's also an aspect of the Inquisition that the HRC supporters (I won't say "the left" or "progressives", b/c I don't think they're in lockstep on this) want to dig up as much dirt as possible and throw it against the wall to see what sticks, ("plead guilty or else we'll make your mortgage your life to cover the legal costs") and deflect from accusations of what they allegedly did to rig the election. It is delicious irony now that the investigations are coming back on HRC/DNC/Obama's leftover minions within the government.

He took a page from Hillary's work by giving us his version of "What Happened", but a) a one-page editorial isn't a 300page NYT bestseller, so he sold himself a bit short and b) he actually has documentation against him saying he should be fired for cause. Even HRC didn't ever have that.

It's clear he's already established his dishonesty quite completely, on multiple occasions, under oath.

He is not someone who can be believed or trusted, and he is an enemy of America.

There's a difference between an illegal leak as an undisclosed confidential source to a member of the media chosen to manipulate the story in an attempt to attack the administration, and Sarah Sanders answering questions from the media for the President about what he's doing.
The Navy has Public Affairs Officers. They do "what Sarah Sanders does". If I leaked info and was caught, I also would be brought up on charges, and whether or not I go to court-martial, I would be leaving the Navy with 19 years and no pension. I have sympathy if there was a witchhunt (as it seems may have happened with Flynn), but once you have documentation that you fucked up hard enough to be eligible to be fired from a government position, that's all gone. Vaya con dios.

I mean, let's be real here for a second. I know many on here have served before....give me your opinions on how easy it is to fire a career government employee.

One sentence is proof he is a liar. You should really read the whole thing. Clapper ring a bell?

Here is the obvious liar trying to write an alibi letter.

During these inquiries, I answered questions truthfully and as accurately as I could amidst the chaos that surrounded me

And trump has been honest? I think his rate was something like 70% false claims during the debate and has continued from day one in office. Shouldn;t he be fired for lying? Oh that's right, in your eyes trump can do no wrong.

Can you tell me when they got this picture of you at the beach?

Now this is intended to be an insult. It has nothing to do with the subject matter, just intended to be insulting adding nothing.

@Denny Crane is this the forum is to be? Not a complaint, just a question?
