A little late but still a very creative way to tank.

Pot brownies on the team plane!

I wonder how much Noel will get as a FA this summer. Things have not gone well for him...so far.

I know it's legal in several states now but is it really that difficult to just wait until your career is over to partake in drugs? Most NBA players make millions of dollars. They can just play and then buy all the weed they want when they're done.

For someone like Noel who has a questionable work ethic and his career is going downhill fast this is a bad look even if it is just marijuana.

NBA players, politicians, elite level athletes... the rules that apply to you and me don't apply to them.
They want a boat, no problem.
    They want chicks, no problem.
They want a house in the Caymans, no problem.

They don't get told no a lot. They want what they want, and they want pot.

In 30 years, people won't even believe you that not only was pot illegal (federal gov.) in 2018, it was a schedule 1 drug.
They're just a few years ahead of the B. S.

Noels decision to turn down 4 yrs 70 mil last year might be the worst financial decision in the history of the NBA. At least as far as contracts are concerned. His agent has to be tugging on his collar.

Worse than the Blazers giving Brandon Roy $82 million after he had knee surgery? Or giving Darius Miles $48 million?

Remember when that guy in your avatar turned down that big contract from Sacramento a decade ago? He has to still be thinking about that.

I’m talkin about from a players perspective not a franchise. I’m sure there has been plenty worse decisions made by GM’s.

I have no doubt it'll be legal in the US in 30 years. Hell in the next 5 years most states will legalize it imo.
However professional athletes should be treated no different than the average person when it comes to what an employer expects of it's employees.

I do however have no issues with professional athletes doing pot in the off-season.
But they better be aware, if it prevents them from working on their games in the off-season.
Then it could possibly effect their paycheck or lack there of.

I think it's bullshit. MJ isn't a performance enhancer. It HINDERS your performance.

What kills me is Lamar Odom never played a game without smoking....
