Why are we comparing them? We need them both. Not one or the other.

the beauty of this post is that we will never know what wouldve happened if Boogie was on the floor this season. The Pelicans had a lot to figure out last season and it was really tough integrating Boogie on the fly. This year we started shaky but then in January we starting putting things together.
We had a top offense and an average to below average defense because Boogie slowed down the pace. When Boogie got hurt, our offense dropped to average/below average and our defense jumped into the upper tier in the league.

simply different styles. and because this is an all-star driven league and Boogie and AD are close, the Pelicans will resign him the second they can

and its a such common misconception that he's an anti-winner or toxic in the lock room. He didn't win in SAC because the ownership is terrible, and in this league, you can't win when your 4 or 5 is your best player. Boogie's biggest issue is that he commits a lot of TO's and takes a lot of shots. It's similar to Russell Westbrook. The goal for him is to continue to learn to play in control. He started to do that about 10ish games before his injury.

Trade Boogie for a couple good players to increase your depth. There's gotta be a sucker team out there that would take Cousins. The Magic, maybe?

lol trust me, its not like we haven't had discussions like this on tiger droppings. but the kicker is that the Pelicans want to keep AD happy and in a Pelicans jersey. It's widely agreed that if the Pelicans trade Cousins (a really close friend of AD's), AD would soon be asking out of New Orleans

They might send AD to Boston or Golden State anyway.

I can easily touch rim on a quick jump layup. AD is doubling 20 feet away from the rim. I'd catch the ball next to the rim. You really think that fool would block me? It's a wide open layup.

I've seen Hakeem go from under the basket to blocking a three in like half a second. I'm sure AD could do the reverse. Just jump and extend his long arms. You don't know how short you are.

I'm tall enough to shoot a layup right over the rim in half a second. If you really think Anthony Davis can cover that much ground then you're delusional. Portland might as well never shoot because he'll block everything.

Well there you go misunderstanding again. I never said that I hurt your feelings (it wasn’t my post you originally responded to). I simply responded to your question with (as pointed out) a tongue in cheek answer because I thought said question was over the top. I’m really not sure why you feel ill treated by this board, especially after years of navigating OLive. And as I tried to point out, this board is a liberal’s wet dream of a “safe space” compared to where you guys came from. If you survived having your feathers ruffled there, then what’s the problem here? I’m not looking for conflict, but if you don’t like being lumped into what you feel is an unfair category, then please extend the SC2 folks the same courtesy. You made a generalization and I responded in kind. Shame on both of us.

Good thing the last part of that rule wasn't about sex with Mrs HCP, otherwise you would never be able to post.

Bro I'm glad you said something. I'm glad somebody other than The HCP could not believe they actually felt that way and typed about it. Wow.

Ok, sorry, didn't know Davis could jump from the 3pt line and block a shot at the backboard. He should start trying to score 3 pointers off of dunks by jumping from the 3pt line. Since apparently, he's that athletic.

One thing I learned today: there are never open layups in the NBA, and if there were, apparently I can't make them.

Well there are indeed open layups in the NBA. Problem is you are not in the NBA and no you can't make them.
You really need to find the green font button bro.
