I doubt it. There's a reason they haven't identified the potential ownership group. Baseball wouldn't succeed here anyway. Too many games.

I'd spend just as much money supporting a Portland MLB team as I do any other baseball team.

    That'd be a big fat $0.

Baseball is terrible. No interest in getting an MLB team at all.

Both of those downtowns don't feel anywhere near as big as ours. The cities themselves may spread out more, but the downtowns, are kinda small.

I personally would only see one baseball game a year in person if I still lived in the area. It is great to grab a hot dog and enjoy a night out but otherwise it would not grab me enough. Now football I would have season tickets but can't see that happening. NHL would fall somewhere in the middle for me but closer to the baseball end.

Indy blows-- I've been here for the past 6 yrs and can't wait to get out. Portland seems like a much bigger city, with an actual city center that is relevant. Portland deserves a second team more than Indy deserves a third.

Personally, I’d attend more baseball games than Blazer games if we got a team. 1, it’s cheaper. 2, it’s mostly played in the summer. 3, MLB games are a top notch in person experience.

    But........sooooo.....god damn boring!
Sorry, "America's Past Time" or not. I will take the extra work for sure. I'm sure I'd find myself a couple games a year with my family, but not to watch the actual game. And how sad is that that you can go and NOT pay attention and still get the gist of what happened. Could you imagine going to a Blazers game and just drinking and not watching?

When I talked with Brooke about her time in Indy, our take on Indy was that it was a nice city but entirely too many similar sports bars. I have not looked at the numbers but would guess many in Indiana have not moved very far and are not welcome to any change. With that, someone like Trump and Pence can get elected and it was just recently voted to allow Sunday beer sales. With the resistance to change, not sure the longtime Cardinal, Cub, and Reds fans would convert to whatever team Indy would have in MLB. Those three teams would probably sell well when in town but that would only be a fraction of the schedule.

Do not forget about the two other teams we have in Portland. Timbers and Thorns both sell well.

My wife makes us go every time we are in the Midwest. I still prefer Rally's or White Castle. My other mandatory stops were Pizza King and Cracker Barrel. Can hit CB out here now.

Dunkin is nice but no Blue Star. Voodoo is slowly starting to make its way to other cities but really just somewhere to go on vacation and not somewhere you go regularly.
