This is the kind of fight that keeps bringing us back to watch. Poirier and Gaethje with an early fight of the year contender.

Main card fights were great. All that I saw tonight.

I hope Gaethje is getting a million a fight. At this rate he's only got a year left or so before the egg can't be unbroken. Poirier was getting his leg chewed up but he is also super tough. He helped make this such a great fight. Shouldn't forget him.

Not Jon Jones had an ok peformance. His ground game and defensive wrestling were highlighted. Middleweight has some good wrestlers. He might struggle unless he is brought along slow enough that the likes of Brunson and Romero are gone by then. Not sure what is going on with Rockhold and LHW.

Waterson got a kind decision win. I guess it was like 55/45. She defended a lot of subs but gets a lot of credit for that apparently. An atom weight division would be good for her.

Brazilian Cowboy is another exciting fighter. It was a very tough replacement fight for Condit who was meant to fight a plodding Matt Brown. Condit has lost four straight including a brief retirement... But the competition has been very good. Magny, Maia, and Lawler. Killers row. This win probably gets Cowboy another main event in the future.

Alvarez doesn't want it but they pretty much have to do the rematch now, right?

Hang them up Condit. God, he could have been one of the WW goats if he had any sort of wrestling.

Style bender needs to work on that wrasslin'

Gaethje might be the most exciting fighter; but his game plan is horrible. He has amazing wrestling but doesn't use it offensively one bit. He blocks punches with his head...dude could really be something if he was cerebral at all with his game plan. Use his wrestling as offense; and try some fucking head movement.
