Just seems weird that after the updates after the surgery and the tweet of him on the treadmill 9 days ago, it's been dead silent since. Crickets... Makes me both nervous and hopeful. BNM
Blazers get encouraging news on Maurice Harkless on Wednesday. After an evaluation, source says he is "tracking" toward a mid-week return next week. Harkless: "Making progress ... I just don't want to do too much, too fast.''
Sounds like there's a decent chance we see mo' Moe in tonight's game: http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/i...harkless_upgraded_to_qu.html#incart_big-photo
I would love to see him get some light, but meaningful minutes tonight, and be full strength for the two wins in NO.
If he has any swelling or it isn't strong, then he should rest it until he can go full out. But, I would love to see him for 10-15 minutes tonight just to shake off the rust so his next game he will be ready. I was glad to see him work out against Swanigan. Nothing light about that.
Professional athletes usually have a good idea of what their body can take. If he and the doctors think he can play effectively then he needs to play.
Hark is a hustle guy. If he is hampered in anyway he could hurt us more than help us. But if there is zero chance of a set back then they need to get him in for 10-15 minutes to at least get the rust off.
He really is a difference in close games for matchups, swish3's, mid range shots and D play on the opposing team 2nd option players. I hope he returns in days rather than weeks (agony).
