I'm sick and tired of pretenders like Lillard and McCollum who gets shutted down at the very first real competition and still run their mouth about being the best backcourt in the NBA and all that BS. It's all right to blame Olshey and Stotts but at the end of the day what really matters is your franchise player and like I said i'm sick and tired of our overrated duo, give me back a REAL superstar like BRoy, I miss him so much...
On the old thread crossing between Lillard and Roy I picked Roy because of his playoff heroics. I almost posted a few weeks back that I may change my pick to Lillard with that late season run he had, but I have to stick with Roy. Lillard gives all and nobody can take that away from him, but in a series where he can be scouted you can see where a bigger guard can take him out of his game. Not stop him, but lesson his value. Only Roy's knees stoped him. Maybe that is just old memories being over exaggerated, but Lillard disappointed. 10 straight playoff loses??? Ouch! Some writer posted on twitter a comment that I believe hits home with this team and that was something to the effect that only if Portland had more guys that could handle the ball. It is true this team has 2 guys that can create their own shots off the dribble, but unfortunately both need the ball in their hands to make it happen. The last thing that bothered me was Portland's inability to pick up an asset at the deadline or sign one just after the deadline. I watched Philly the last two games and they have 2 guys they picked up after the deadline and they both are playing a major role for them. I know you can't force a guy to sign with you, but you need to find a way to change the culture that is keeping guys from signing even for the last two months. As a 40+ year Mariner/Blazer fan, wait til next year cry once again.
Roy's one healthy playoff series he increased his scoring average 4.1 points over his regular season average that year while also shooting Can't do worse than what we got.
McScribbles is still coaching. Kpee is still GMing with Buchanan Cho and Cheeks are available, though...
I'm sick and tired of posters who only post on this site when the team is struggling. Yet they're completely MIA when the team is winning. You're posts & your account is troll. Therefore worthless.
I do Dude made sacrifices for us. Might not have paid off, but he has heart and for that he'll always be one of my favorite blazers.
Who won more playoff series? Lillard or Roy? Oh right you already gave an excuse. 'injuries'. At least you're clicking on the site, bringing income and paying for things like the 3 on 3 tourney. As that's all you bring to this site. Whatever tho, at least you'll be gone next time Portland wins ONE game.
