Some of you are so clueless... don’t you understand that unless we break up Dame and CJ, it doesn’t matter who else we add to roster... 2 undersized ISO players taking half the teams shots and making have the salary cap is a recipe for disaster... we will always be last in assists in NBA with Dame/CJ combo as centerpiece of team.

System? CJ in a decent system would be lethal. Get an actual PF (Collins) to pair with Nurk, and they'd greatly reduce the defensive liability posed by Dame/CJ.
Yes, it would be nice to have Butler, but that's not happening. Trading away CJ for anyone less than Butler would be stupid.

the thing with damn and cj is that when they are able to play pretty free they can be out of this world good. but its not tactic any elite teams will enable for them.

like in this series, when the pressure is on, they look like lost tweeners.

I think we've seen the last of Stotts, Olshay, and ultimately Lillard in Portland. He knows he'll never win a title in Portland, and I don't give a fuck what he says in interviews or on his rap records. He will not sign another contract with the Blazers, and he'll end his career in another uniform. It is inevitable.

Lillard's core game got exposed in this series, and unless he completely re-invents himself this summer, the book has been written on how to neutralize him.

Bye, CJ. You are a baller, and I wish you luck at whatever team you end up at that took the Blazers to the cleaners on the trade.

Bye, Napier. Flashes of starter-level PG talent, but unless you can bring it every night, you'll always be a role player.

Bye, Nurk. The Blazers wont pay you what you think you are worth. Enjoy free agency.

Hello two or more years of mediocrity, at best.

Aminu is not a superstar, but he's a quality role player.
No reason to hate him on.

Aminu is one of our 3 best players. He is NOT the problem.

Not in today's NBA. That's like saying "Draymond is a 3" (like he was in college and under Mark Jackson).

    LEAVE AMINU ALONE!!!!

Napier is done here. Renounce him.

Connaughton is a towel waiver. If they want to bring him back for the minimum, cool. Otherwise he can go too.

Meyers and Turner should go but no one wants that shit unless we attach a pick or take back equal contracts.

CJ should be on the block but it’ll never happen as long as Olshey is in charge.

This all leads to the most likely fall guy...Terry. But I’d fire Olshey instead.

Neil is on top of my list.

The least creative GM in Blazer history.

CJ is a baller but I just don’t see it working anymore. Not his fault, it’s the GM’s fault. If we can’t get the right personnel around Dame/CJ then we have to bite the bullet and get the best return possible from one of the two. I say trade CJ for a 4 man who is a legitimate Pick and Pop guy or see if we can get a lotto pick for him.

I know he stinks at defense, but Kevin Love would be ridiculous with Dame. In both the P&R and also dribble penetration kick outs.

We were much better when we had size/D and outside shooting at the the 2 and 3 a la Matthews and Batum. Replace CJ and Turner/Harkless with those two and I think we would have weathered the series.

Yourself. This team is stuck with a few of those names like it or not. So where might YOU go to get as far away as possible?

Why would anyone want to say goodbye to Aminu?? He's on a reasonable deal and was our best player in the playoffs.

Agreed, but it might be a sell-high type of scenario with Chief.

If that "new SG" is Turner, that's a hell of a defensive lineup. But dame will be flat smothered.
