Mad props to CJ for 50 in 29. I've been a critic of his over dribbling and how it keeps teammates from having a rhythm but when you are that hot.....the heck with passing!
I can only imagine the consternation there would be around this place this morning if Olshey had traded CJ away last week and he pulled off a performance like last night for his new team.
NBA ICYMI: C.J. McCollum vs. Everybody? Don’t Bet Against C.J. "30 Minutes or Less At the end of the first quarter of Bulls-Blazers, Chicago had 19 points. C.J. McCollum had 28. No Portland player has ever done that in the first quarter. No Portland player has done that in any quarter. He broke his previous career high, 43, before the fourth quarter began." BNM
Show up. And a lot of people think hes better than Dame. If we trade him we gonna be dead. CJ is special. We need a new coach before EVEN considerer trade him.
Wow. Can't imagine how let down I am right now. When I saw this thread, I got happy as usually these threads pop up after said player has been traded. #clickbaittitle
I don't think anyone complains about his scoring, it is the defense and passing where we have issues:
Better playmaker? NOT! I love CJ as an offensive weapon, but assist aren't his forte. Better player, are you drunk?
I think we should all think positive thoughts about CJ's height. BTW, while our backcourt frequently make games they infrequently break games. Broken games are more often the result of the frontcourt.
Not drunk at this time but after reading a number of posts in here, I'm considering changing that status. Anybody got a joint? Okay, that was rhetorical, Sly.
The 1st 10 games when CJ took a back seat and more players were involved in the offense the Blazers were 7-3... in the last 10 games where CJ is featured in the offense, Blazees are 3-7... coincidence? I think not
Meh the whole team sucks man it’s been the same shit since LMA left. Let this season end and we’ll go a new direction
