As I get older I get dumber. The gain in age offsets the loss of intelligence so I'll always be immune to that.
I get it that all the good music has already been written. Now the only way to make something new is to computer generate a series of shrieks and whistles. There's that new band Greta Van Fleet that is basically new Led Zeppelin. They're ok and I'm not even gonna judge them for ripping off a band that ripped off others to make great music. Good is good.

This is coming from someone who understands that age has been the driving factor in the past when these issues have arisen. Not this time. We see the same thing with movies. Remakes and making endless Star Wars sequels. Moonlight is sooooo amazing because a gay gang banger is different. As I said, good is good. Just don't pretend there is anything truly new without aid of computer manipulation.

I think it’s exactly what any art should be. Thought provoking, emotional, visceral, fun, and very well done technically and stylistically. That being said, if you don’t “get it”...nobody gives a shit.
