Early JBL's are killer speakers. I had a pair of JBL L150's that were big towers and sounded awesome and got extremely loud with my 250 watt power amp. My roommate also had a pair of JBL L65 Jubals that also rocked and he ran his through a 150 watt amp. We frequently had a knock at the door for playing our music a bit on the loud side, lol. I use to have an awesome collection of vinyl of well over 300 albums but kids and dogs came along and they didn;t mix so well so sold them all off. Music Millenium was my haven in the day. Now days it's full surround sound with 7.1 full theater sound for a great movie experience.

A couple of filet mignon skewers and some salmon jerky from The Butcher Block on Horizon Ridge in Henderson. Almost like a real old fashioned butcher shop. Mmmmmm

I just spent over an hour on this. Edx looks good. Udemy looks like they want my money. Thanks. I'll try Edx.

I’d say Udemy is more hit or miss, edX panders a lot more to Microsoft but it’s usually more like “formal” education. I’ve had good and bad experiences with both.
Coursera is the one that feels the most like just wants my money, which is why I don’t include them.

I had a Dual turntable and a Pioneer receiver with a FET front end. I still have my Beatles White Album.

Still have my 300+ albums along with my Bang & Olufson turntable. Got rid of everything else. Someday I may fill out the equipment roster again.

That's too funny. After my after picking up many albums at the thrift stores over the last couple years, I'm up to about 450, but until then I was at 300+ all purchased in the 1970s and early 80s - and the B&O Beogram 3400 turntable I bought in 1979. I finally sold the turntable last summer, but only because I'd picked up a three more and ended up with more than I need.

That's an Elac Miracord (also made in West Germany) in the photos, and I recently picked up a Dual 1228. The Duals are REALLY popular these days, but the Elacs (not nearly as common) are better built and require less maintenance.

I also have a Rek O Kut Rondine broadcast turntable waiting for me to do a complete restoration. The Rek O Kuts were the turntable of choice for most radio stations during the 50s and 60ss. Built like a tank with a HUGE Ashland motor that probably has more horsepower than a Prius.

Most radio stations had a pair of the Rek O Kuts mounted in the console, but here's what one looks like mounted in a plinth for home use:

Speaking of The White Album, I still have my pristine copy in white vinyl (Canadian pressing):
