Well yes but it pretty clearly says he is busy and the days he can make it are Friday after 7 and Sunday. With the point being that he is busy every other day. So i guess what you want is to know what he is doing? That would be work. At least that is the impression he leaves.

Lol... this conversation doesn't even involve you. If he worked Saturday's idk why it would clear up in a month so I was just curiously asking... ya know, to have a normal conversation... and now you're trying to tell me that it "obviously says he's busy Saturday" when I just asked him what he was busy with on that day?

    Alright... smh.

    I'm umping most saturdays.
5/12 I was out at the fields at 9:30am, until 5:30pm.

I had sunscreen on, but I'm still a little sunburnt.
Seriously tho, ya'll should just start balling and once my schedule lightens up I'll make some pickup games.

Well... There is that. But he could break that up in 3 hour sessions and get a game in between.

I won't know my schedule until Thursday or Friday. As we get our schedule weekly.
Reason why I said Sunday or Friday is because I know we don't have any games on those days.
But there are always games during the week from 6 - 8, as well as Saturday from 10 - 4pm

Normally I'd tell the guy who makes the schedules that I need x saturday off and he'd be okay with it.
But due to loud mouthed parents.
This year we have 5 umpires to cover baseball. 3 umpires to cover softball.
    Which is severely under staffed.
Actually had one of the softball parents yesterday got upset because I didn't take away at bats for the home team.
When in her eyes, they couldn't comeback and win.
Which I don't know any level of softball or baseball where it says, 'at bats should be taken away from a team who bats second in the inning'.
In baseball/softball at all levels, if you start an inning. You finish said inning. The only thing which could stop it, is weather.

My schedule lightens up when the after school program I run ends on the 25th.
However I've been asked to help lead a summer camp & be a 'big brother' to a special needs kid.
Both pay around 30$ an hour.

I will make a few practices, but I can't say for sure which days I will be there. At least until those days get closer.
@hoopsjock @dviss1 and @BonesJones should just start getting some run in with you guys. Then I'll show up one day & break Torey's ankles and we'll both laugh.

After reading some of your trade suggestions over the years. I don't think there is a question which one of us is delusional.

Don't you choose your availability? That's part of being s referee, leveraging your time.

    Yeah I do.
However do to having so few umpires this summer. Rather than having games cancelled.
We all decided at the meeting we'd get in as many games as possible.
It means more $, however doing 4 or 5 games saturday is far more rough on the quads/hammys than doing 2 games saturday.
