So this stems from a conversation my dad and I have been having quite often lately. How do you beat them? When will a team figure it out? I as much as I dislike CP3 and Harden, I think Houston may have showed the blue print, lots of 3 point shooting, and length on defense. The other idea is build around an Anthony Davis type player who can switch and guard any body on the perimeter but will own Draymond in the paint and make it so Golden State can’t just play small and get away with it. It’s an interesting problem because outside of Lebron showing up on a team with a lot of talent someone is going to have to figure it out with “less” talent. After KD went to GS the talent gap is pretty big.
In a way I want Lebron to go to Boston, trade Kyrie for another major piece and with Brad Stephens they could beat Golden State.
A few Meyers Leonard elbows here. A Nurk elbow there. Gotta bang them hard. At the core, they are pussy ass bitches. Be physical.
I don’t know how you can beat them... but I know a sure way to garauntee you will never beat them... by keeping McLillard together with Stotts as coach
Oh look. The broken record has to repeat himself for (literally) the millionth time. We GET IT. Put the same two posts about McLillard and Olshey in your signature and then just post a period or something every post. That would save you the time of having to type out the same stuff over and over again.
Good news, Boppers: The big alert has been called off. It turns out that the early reports were wrong, all wrong. Now for that group out there that had such a hard time getting home, sorry about that. I guess the only thing we can do is play you a song.
Wash, rinse, repeat. You literally could've said anything. You could've said "hit Durant in the face with a crowbar" but no... There's only one song on your record.
I thought Houston played them pretty well (for the most part defensively). Kind of makes me wonder how a line up Nurk or Davis / Collins / Aminu and Dame and CJ could do the forwards would have the length and athleticism to at least be annoying.
Beating them is all mental. Just have to make enough shots to change them from the Warriors to the Worriers.
Lillard and CJ haven’t been the issue in the match ups with GS the last couple years. The Blazer guards actually step up for Klay and Curry, the forwards have a lot of problems, not thick enough for Draymond and can’t guard KD. Just adding, that They really did as a group suck in the playoffs this year, as a group and especially Stotts in my opinion did not do a good job of having his guys ready, of making adjustments, and making NO pay for the all out Blitz defense they were playing on Dame. I just think I’m this particular match up the guards have played well.
