The Cavs are one of the worst 2nd seeds EVER in NBA history in a terribly weak conference. Hell, the Wizards are actually making them work. Cleveland isn't efficent on the offensive end whatsoever. Too many of their points come up from broken up plays, offensive rebounds, or LeBron James' 1-on-1's. They play with no energy against weaker teams (as do a lot of teams). What if LeBron isn't feeling it whatsoever against a team that is 100% healthy and have proven many people they can go deep in the playoffs, like the Bulls.. who's going to pick it up?Cavs will never reach the ECF competing against Detroit, Chicago, and Miami. Until they prove people that they can beat these teams, maybe so, but they haven't done it yet.ESPN glorifys this team, and I have yet to understand why.

No offense to Lebron or his crew, but the Cavs are not that good and were extremely fortunate to get the #2 seed. They would be lucky to get a #7 or #8 seed in the West, if they could even make the playoffs.

Yes, very much so. They use the talent they have horribly, offense is incredibly stagnant, defense is decent at best, they don't have a ton of talent, and I still question LeBron as a leader and clutch player.

Cleveland has big problems of trying to get past weak teams, I knew that right off the bat before the series started with the Wizards. Washington has some good players, no they don't have their two best guns but Jamison is putting up great numbers on the Cavaliers terrible defense.[Down low that is]. Are we overrated? No, hell sometimes ESPN and TNT don't think we are in the NBA. When the race for the playoff started, wanna know what they said? They talked about Miami, Chicago, Detroit, Washington and whatever other team... Besides Cleveland. Cleveland is still one player away from getting to the big show, IMO. We need a guy that can play some defense down low and be able to stop big guys like Howard, Bosh, and all of them. Overrated? I wouldn't think so, maybe to some but I don't see my team as overrated or underrated or any of that.

[IMG] They probably think they can take it easy with Butler, and Agent Zero being out, and then turn it back up next series.

Exactly who gives them credit in the national media? TNT ALWAYS bashes them, only person from ESPN that gives them any kind of credit is Tim Legler but he's never certain about them either. Are they a great team, no. Are they a good team, yes. Regardless if you win by 1 or 100, a win is a win. They're just not showing any killer instinct in this series. Not saying they're taking the Wizards lightly but they're certainly not playing their best basketball.

Outside of Hughes/LeBron they don't excite me at all. They just aren't as a team, above-average it seems at anything. They have not put a good cast around LeBron James at all.

I can live with the Z and Hughes signing but Marshall and Damon Jones have just now shown up this year or ever. They are always open for three in their spots and they always seem to miss. Ticks me off, but I gotta hope we sign someone this off season that can be a shooter because it's much, much needed.

I still don't know why the Cavs signed Larry Hughes for 70 million, especially when they needed a long-range shooter (Redd and Allen were both in the FA market that summer). <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Exactly who gives them credit in the national media? All I hear on ESPN are the problems for the Knicks and LeBron James.

Ferry wanted Allen but he ran back to Seattle and look at his team now. No coach, and now their second best player is leaving. Sucks for him, I bet he'd wish he would've signed with Cleveland. Redd, I wanted badly because my boy is from OSU and he is an outstanding player. I wanted him, but he went back to the Bucks. I don't know if it was smart, but whatever. I guess it was, that team isn't bad but they need more help and the have battled with plays being hurt. None the less, Ferry had to sign Larry Hughes to show our superstar that we want to win and we want him to stay and all of that stuff. If we didn't get Hughes, this would be LeBron James' last season as a Cavalier. Instead, James loves Hughes and he resigned. It was either Hughes or nothing. Also, Washington was gonna offer him the same kinda cash but Hughes took it personally and quickly signed with Cleveland.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Zards @ Apr 26 2007, 06:47 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>ESPN rides LeBron James' dick daily. They don't talk about anyone else but LeBron, and when they do they are trashing him because he doesn't make game winning shots and he doesn't make his free throws. I never hear things anymore about him being this good and him doing this and all that stuff I heard last season. This season the Cavs' have gotten bashed daily and whenever anyone could take a shot at us they would. Its fine, I'm used to having a team not even make the playoffs so I can handle this kinda stuff. Most of you, hell all of you doubt that Cleveland will even make the ECF or win it. But, IMO I think we got a shot to go all the way to the finals. I would love it, and I can honestly see it happing.
